**Lights were finally turned on around the tower, and Mina couldn't believe that she's witnessing a beautiful view like this.**
Mina: Wow! Just wow! I'm honestly lost for words.
Chaeng: Me, too.
**Chaeng already saw this place numerous times, but it hits differently now. Maybe because she's with Mina? The girl who made her feel that love has no gender?**
Mina: Can we stay a little longer?
**She said, not looking at Chaeng, but at the bright lights around them.**
**Chaeng tilted her head towards Mina, then smiled. She's more comfortable around her now than before. She felt like they have a connection, but she's not yet sure if it's the connection she's looking for.**
**It's difficult to make a move. She thought.**
**Mina's older than her, and what if she's giving her sweet gestures because she thinks of her like a little sister. Someone to take care of.**
Chaeng: Why not? We could take the taxi, instead, if you want.
**Mina stopped looking at the view around her to shift her attention to Chaeng. She smiled sincerely.**
Mina: Thank you! I mean, thank you for spending your day with me. I enjoyed the talk before we found the Japanese Restaurant I've been thinking of visiting since last week. And thank you for the sweet potato, and the cable car experience, and even for writing our names in a lock. And this, thank you for letting us stay for a while to witness this.
**Gosh! Why am I so emotional about this? This is just a bet. I mean, if I didn't agree to last night's invitation to play a game with her, we might not be here spending time together. Mina thought.**
Mina: I know, this is just part of our bet last night, and maybe this won't happen if we didn't agree on it. But...
**She paused, distracted by how Chaeyoung stares at her. Her eyes were warm and full of sympathy. What does it mean? She thought.**
Chaeng: But?
**Chaeng wonders what's the next words she'll say.**
Mina: But whatever it is, I still want to thank you 'cause I honestly want to spend time with you, like this.
Chaeng: Me, too. I mean, I want to thank you, too. I really had fun. I enjoyed everything, too.
**Shit! Why am I so bad with this kind of conversation? And now I feel like I've disappointed her by my words. It lacks emotion. Chaeng nagged herself.**
Mina: Hmm...
**She nodded and went back to appreciating the lights around them.**
**Oh my gosh! I've ruined it. I think she hates me now! Chaeng thought.**
Chaeng: I mean, whether we had that bet or not...
**Those words drew back Mina's attention, which made her turn her head to her once more.**
**Chaeng swallowed hard.**
Chaeng: I still have the same thing to say. I always look forward to spending my time with you. It's just, last night made it easier to ask you for it.
**Mina frowned at everything Chaeyoung said.**
Mina: You can always ask if you want.
**My gosh Chaeng! Why make this thing hard for us? I always give you a sign. But you keep on ignoring it. Now you're telling me this. She kept those words in her head.**
**Chaeng looked down at her feet. Couldn't bear the stupidity she has.**
Chaeng: But you're older than me, which makes it difficult to ask for something.
Mina: I know. That's why I kept on giving you hints, but I'm not sure why you keep on ignoring it. Or maybe you're just too innocent with those kinds of things. I really can't tell, you're so hard to read.
**Chaeng was still silent. Didn't know what to say.**
Mina: Anyway, remember two weeks ago, we ate with everyone outside, and you were sitting in front of me? I put noodles on the saucer and gave them to you without you asking me to do that because I know you were just waiting for everyone to finish first before you get yours. Then there's this one time you want to eat sushi, but everyone was ignoring you, so I spoke up and suggested to have raw fish so you could have the same thing. There's a lot more to say, but I won't say it all 'cause we might end up spending the whole night here.
**Chaeng was surprised with everything she heard.**
**I know there's something on those gestures, but I kept on ignoring it because I don't want to be delusional. Chaeng wants to say.**
Mina: I'm sorry. Am I being too straight forward?
Chaeng: Hmm... You shouldn't say sorry about that. I should be the one who needs to say sorry here. I'm so bad at giving a reaction. You know.
Mina: I know.
**She smiled.**
Mina: I mean, I know you don't express yourself that much. That's why I'm not expecting you to say something or give me a grand reaction.
**She paused, weighing herself if she'll say more. If she won't, she might lose this opportunity to express her true feelings for her. But if she will, there's a possibility that it might change how Chaeyoung sees her.**
Mina: I like you.
**She let it out. She can't hold it anymore. She's now ready to accept any reaction she'll get from Chaeng.**
Chaeng: Like a little sister.
**She said as soon as Mina finished her last premise.**
Mina: I wish it was just it. But it's not 'cause I always wonder how it feels to hold your hand or stand next to you. It's weird, but I kept thinking about it.
Chaeng: I think a lot about it, too.
Mina: Does that mean...
Chaeng: Hmm... Yeah!
**Chaeng interrupted.**
**Mina nodded and pressed her lips, and then searched for Chaeyoung's hand to hold it.**
**Chaeng might not have the courage yet to say what's in her head and what she feels, but Mina was already satisfied with everything she'd heard.**
