Crush On You Ep. 13 - (A MiChaeng FF Story)

**Chaeng didn't sleep well last night. She just kept on rolling on her bed, not because she couldn't find the position she needs to fall asleep, but because her mind kept on repeating the moment she and Mina kissed.**

**It was the most bizarre thing she ever experienced in her life. Maybe because it never crossed her mind that one day she and Mina will have a moment like that.**

**She kept on tapping the bottom of her pen on her blank paper. Thinking of lyrics to write for the melody she and Dahyun were working on.**

Chaeng: Shit! It's not working.

**She whispered. Not meant for someone to hear it, but since Dahyun was just sitting opposite to her, she heard it clearly.**

Dahyun: What's not working?

Chaeng: Hmm?

Dahyun: You said it was not working, so what's not working?

**Chaeng lifted her head and glanced at Dahyun who's staring at her while playing with her pen.**

Chaeng: Nah! I just couldn't think straight right now.

Dahyun: Oh, why? Don't have much sleep last night?

**Chaeng nodded before she leaned her back on her seat.**

Chaeng: Yeah! Well, couldn't believe I finished my paper last night. It was the longest thing I've ever written. But I'm glad Mina accompanied me or else, I would have slept without finishing it.

**Dahyun dropped her pen on the table and leaned on her seat before she crossed her arms on her chest.**

Dahyun: Ooooh! So what's exactly is going on now? I mean, it's kind of fascinating to hear that Mina accompanied you last night to finish your paper.

**She raised her left brow, smirking.**

Dahyun: Isn't it something that only girlfriends do?

**Now Chaeng regretted the moment she said something about Mina. But, Dahyun is her best friend, so no matter how much she hides everything from everyone, Dahyun will surely keep on giving the questions that she couldn't just ignore.**

Dahyun: Why don't you just tell me what's going on? So at least I know what reaction to give whenever you two are around.

Chaeng: Nothing's going on. Besides, you and Tzuyu will be the first persons to know if there's an update between us. And... do you think something will happen overnight? We just had our first lunch a couple of days ago. Do you think our relationship will elevate that fast?

**She chuckled nervously. She and Mina hadn't talked about how they will act or if it's okay to talk about what's going on between them to other members. Maybe it's the first thing she'll ask later, once they meet at the dorm.**

Dahyun: Maybe? You've known each other since when? Since she flew here in Korea, right? So what's the point of taking your time. If you like her and she likes you, why not go for it.

Chaeng: Why does it sound so easy for you? Yeah, I like her and she likes me, but what if we're not compatible with each other? What if rushing things will only lead us to ruin our friendship? Like arguing with a lot of things something like that.

**Dahyun uncrossed her arms and moved forward, closing her distance to Chaeng.**

Dahyun: Why on earth are you thinking about those things? Can you just think about the 'I like her and she likes me' period? Bro, you're thinking too much. I know it's not an easy thing, but come on, if you like her, just fuck it. Risk! For Pete's sake!

**Chaeng's shoulders fall. She accepted her defeat. Dahyun is right, fuck it! But how about Mina? What will she do? Will she also take the risk as early as now? But she agreed to take everything slowly, like baby steps. Did she just agree to that because that's what I want? She thought.**

Dahyun: So, do you think we'll be able to finish this thing today or not? I'll give you time if you need it.

Chaeng: We'll work on this. Besides, it's still early.

Dahyun: Okay. IF you say so.

**Dahyun picked up her pen again and continued to write something on her paper, while Chaeng was still battling about what Dahyun had said and how she's craving for Mina's presence.**

**The kiss. It keeps on flashing back. She wants it. She

wants to do it again.**

**A beep from their phone broke the battle inside her. A message from their group chat.**

Dahyun: Hmm... they're planning to have dinner later.

Chaeng: What time? I thought everyone is busy with their training?

Dahyun: Jeong said at seven since we're the last ones to finish our schedule.

Chaeng: Is it okay for them to wait for us that long? I think Mina and Jihyo will finish theirs at five. It's quite a long time to wait for us.

**Dahyun shifted her attention to Chaeng, smirking.**

Dahyun: I don't think Mina would mind.

**Chaeng shook her head and picked up her phone to message Mina.**

Chaeng's Message: Hey! Have you read it? They're planning to have dinner later?

Mina's Message: Yeah!

Chaeng's Message: You okay with that? I mean waiting for us until seven?

Mina's Message: I don't mind though. At least we could have our dinner together.

Chaeng's Message: Are you sure? It's two long hours, you know.

Mina's Message: It's fine with me. I just need a place to sit in then I'm all good.

Chaeng's Message: All right. See you later then.

Mina's Message: All right! See you later!

**Chaeng was about to put down her phone back at the table when she remembered something.**

Chaeng's Message: Wait! Can we talk later? I mean, I guess I just need us to talk about something.

Mina's Message: Is it about what happened last night?

**That suddenly brought warmth to her face. Shit! Another thing to talk about. She thought.**

**Well, they haven't talked about it yet, even if Mina stayed for another hour after that kiss happened. But yeah, they need to talk about that, too. Chaeng thought.**

Chaeng's Message: I was actually thinking about another thing, but yeah, I guess we need to talk about that one, too.

**Mina wondered what that other thing is. Now, she couldn't wait for their talk to happen.**

Mina's Message: All right! Let's talk about everything in your head later.
