At Disha's house

Rai and Disha were telling each other their secrets and waited for Sarmistha.

Soon, Sarmistha arrived at Disha's house. She greeted uncle and aunty and walked upstairs, feeling excited, but most importantly, uncomfortable.

*knock knock*

Disha shouted from inside the room, "Maa, come in."

Sarmistha gulped and said after two seconds, "I am Sarmistha."

Disha sprang up and quickly opened the door. "Sarmistha, come in." She dragged her inside the room; feeling very excited and happy.

Sarmistha smiled faintly and said, "Hello Rai."

Rai smiled at her and said, "Perfect timing. Disha, tell the story."

Disha nodded her head and said, "Sit here. So, I was going to the market. While I was passing the shop, I saw..."

She told the story excitedly and acted like those people. She looked cute and funny.

Sarmistha looked at Disha and slowly felt better. She also talked to them.

Disha, Rai and Sarmistha sat on the dinning table with uncle and aunty. Rai wolfed down everything, while Sarmistha ate like she use to eat; unhurried, properly chewing and enjoying the food.

"Sarmistha, eat more." Mrs. Adhikari gave two chicken pieces and another spoon of rice.

"I am full aunty." Sarmistha slightly blocked her plate when she was about to add even more food.

"You look so skinny. Eat more."

"Aunty, I really can't eat anymore." Sarmistha politely refused her.

"Okay."

"Aunty, I need some chicken." Rai looked at Mrs. Adhikari and smiled. "Aunty, the food is delicious."

Mrs. Adhikari smiled happily. She served Rai and sat down on her seat to eat as well.

"What will you do after class 10?" Mr. Adhikari asked Sarmistha.

Sarmistha was busy eating and didn't notice it.

"Misti!" Disha called Sarmistha and pointed at her father.

"Yes uncle?"

"What are your plans after class 10?"

Sarmistha stole a glance at Disha and looked at uncle. "I will take science. I want to go for research work."

"That's good, that's good. Which subject?"

"Biology."

"Hmm."

"In college and university, I will take either microbiology, biochemistry or genetics. Molecular biology and biophysics is also good."

"Hmm." He then looked at his daughter and said, "Learn something from her. She already decided what she wants, but you!"

"I don't want to stu"

Mr. and Mrs. Adhikari glared at her.

"I mean, I will study. Hahah! Social science maybe."

Rai commented from the side after chewing her food. "I am also taking arts. My mom and dad were forcing me to take science, but who cares. I had a huge fight with them. After that, we weren't talking for a few days. Then one day, dad knocked on my door and said, "Come downstairs. We need to talk." I was so scared. But when I stood in front of them, they asked me a few questions and dad allowed me to take arts. But he is so bad. He said, "With this brain of yours, arts is the only thing you can study. Start studying from now on." I felt so hurt. But what he said was also true. But still, what was the need of saying that? Hmph!" Rai pouted.
