At the Xerox shop
Sarmistha arrived 7 minutes earlier than the supposed time. She patiently stood outside the shop and waited for her.
Meanwhile, Disha was cycling her way to the shop. She was taking a turn when another girl collided with her. Both of them fell down.
The other girl fell in the middle of the road, while Disha fell towards the drain, with her cycle on top of her.
The other girl started crying and got up with some difficulty. "Are you crazy? Don't you know how to ride a bicycle? Stupid girl!"
Disha was stuck. She couldn't get up. Slowly, tears rolled down her cheeks. She asked for help.
"Help you? Huh!" The other girl sneered and started to spout nonsense.
A few people noticed the situation. An uncle walked to Disha and helped her. Disha tried to get up, but her leg was hurting.
"Where were you going?" The uncle asked Disha gently.
"To the Xerox shop."
"Okay. I will take you there. The pharmacy is nearby as well."
"Thank you uncle."
The uncle waved his hand. He gave Disha a piggyback ride and walked with one hand handling the cycle.
"Uncle, uncle..."
"Hmm?"
"You know, my father also carries me like this."
The uncle smiled. "I have a daughter, younger than you. She loves piggyback rides." His expression softened as he talked about his daughter.
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Hehe"
...
Sarmistha waited for 20 minutes. She kept looking at the time.
Is she coming? Did something happen to her? Is she fine?
Sarmistha looked worried and kept walking in a circle again and again.
Maybe I should go and see. Ya, that's better.
Sarmistha started walking and after 5 minutes, saw Disha with a strange man. She was surprised.
Who is this man? I never saw him before. Uncle? No, he doesn't look like this.
As soon as Disha saw Sarmistha, she turned excited and waved her hand. Sarmistha smiled and waved back.
The uncle carried her to Sarmistha and bent down. Disha got down and stood up with his support.
Sarmistha noticed the bandaids and bandages. She squinted her eyes and asked in a worried tone, "What happened to you? Are you fine? How did this happen?" She wanted to scold her, but didn't dare to. What if Disha starts crying instead?
"I am fine. Forget this. You have been waiting for a long time, right? I'm sorry."
"Stupid, stop apologizing." She looked around and saw a plastic chair. She asked the grandpa nearby and brought it after getting his permission.
Disha looked puzzled.
"Here, sit down." Sarmistha patted the chair, asking Disha to sit down.
Disha looked at Sarmistha, completely dumbfounded.
"Oh! Don't worry, this is clean. You can sit here."
Disha smiled helplessly and slowly sat down.
