Chapter 34 2/2 (Last Chapter)

LAUREN'S POV

After a while I cleaned up the kitchen, (Y/N) wanted to do it herself but I told her that she should go get ready cause she needed more time considering having to be more careful with her bruises and her leg and arm.

When I was done, I got ready to. We locked the door and went outside. Luckily, their apartment building had an elevator for (Y/N)'s wheelchair. Considering the fact that she couldn't drive yet, I drove. She didn't tell me where we were going, she just told me the directions.

After a 15 minute drive, she told me to park next to a giant tree. I didn't know where we were. We were at an empty parking lot, with a forest in the background. (Y/N) asked me if I could push her wheelchair for her,so I did. We walked along a path towards the forest. When we were making our way to wherever we were going, we talked a little. It was really nice, just enjoying each other's company.

After walking for what seemed to be 10 minutes trough the forest, we arrived at a beautiful lake house.
"So, what do you think?" She asked me. "This is beautiful, (Y/N). What is this place?" I asked her still looking at it. "This is my private little getaway, my parents build it here when they were teenagers. No one knows it's here, except for them, you and me. Not even Alex knows, so feel special babe." She told me laughing. I looked at her and kissed her cheek.

We made our way inside, and it was beautiful and really cosy. We sat down on the couch and (Y/N) made the fireplace work. I cuddled in to her as we talked the entire time. When it was time for dinner, (Y/N) escorted me outside to the balcony. It had a beautiful view on the lake and the rest if the forest. When (Y/N) placed the food on the table, we started eating right away. We talked some more and had a really good time.

After a while we made our way towards the garden bed that was also on the balcony. (Y/N) put a blanked on top of us, while we cuddled and looked at the stars.

After a while we made our way inside again, because the night cooled down abit. We sat on the couch and watched tv and some movies on Netflix. After a while we both fell asleep after, what I consider, being one of the best days of my life.

As I looked back at (Y/N) again, who was peacefully sleeping with my head on her chest, I smiled and promised myself to keep this very moment in my heart forever. These were the nights to remember. And there were yet more to come.
