Chapter 20

LAUREN'S POV

Ever since that day, (Y/N) hasn't been herself. She's been very distant from everybody. She didn't talk to anyone, except for Alex but their conversations weren't really that long. When it was time to take a break everybody left except for (Y/N), so I decided to stay as well so I could talk to her. When we were alone I started to speak. "Hey, can I ask you something?" I asked her carefully. She pulled her earplugs out and looked at me waiting for me to speak. "The other day, when you walked away upset for some reason I decided to go look for you. I found you in a room crying and singing a really sad song. Can I ask you what happened?" I asked her, afraid for her reaction. She didn't say anything, she just looked at me with an emotionless expression.

After a minute of silence she sighed. "Two years ago, when I was 18, I had a friend called Mason. He was my Best Friend in the whole wide world," she started not meeting my gaze."We were so close and we knew everything about each other. One night he called me, but I didn't answer because I was with my now-ex-girlfriend. He left me messages that he needed to talk to me, but I ignored him and his calls. The next morning, his mother called me that he didn't come home that night.." She stopped talking for a second and turned around to look at me, tears in her eyes. "She told me that he committed suicide.." She was now fully crying. It broke my heart to see her like this. I stroked her back, wrapping my arms around her. After she stopped crying we sat alone for a couple of minutes in a comfortable silence. 

"Lauren can I ask you something?" (Y/N) asked me, breaking the silence as I nodded. "Why did you kiss me the other day?" She asked me looking me in the eyes. "I kissed you because I like you.. I really really like you.." I told her. She looked at me and didn't say anything. After she just stared at me I wanted to walk away, but she grabbed my wrist. She turn me around and crashed her lips onto mine. I was shocked but kissed her back. She broke the kiss and looked me in the eyes. "I like you too. But can we keep this a secret..whatever this is? Camila likes me too and I don't want to hurt her. I will tell everyone.." She said. I smiled at her and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. We both made our way to the cafeteria. (Y/N) in a better mood now. I sat down next to Camila, she was sitting next to Alex, and Alex next to (Y/N).

ALEX'S POV

"Hey, you're in a good mood." I whispered in to (Y/N)'s ear. "Don't tell anyone, okay? So Lauren and I kissed again, she told me she likes me and I told her that I like her too.." She said smiling at me. "OH MY GOD FINALLY! " I screamed smiling and hugging her. She laughed and hugged me back, while the others looked at us confused.

"Well I gotta tell you something too.. Look under the table but don't make it too obvious." I told her. She looked at me confused but did what I told her. She 'dropped' her napkin on the floor and picked it up. "YOU LITTLE SHIT! COME WITH ME RIGHT NOW!" She screamed while laughing and dragging me to the hall way. Everybody looked confused when we walked around the corner. "Why were you and Camila holding hands under the table?" She asked me. "Maybe when you and Lauren had your little moment, we had ours." I said blushing. "BUT HOW DID IT HAPPEN! TELL ME EVERYTHING!" We said in unison. She explained what happened with her and Lauren and I told her about what happened between Camila and I.
