12- What Happened

"You could have done anything else but you just left her!" She cried. Pansy took her friend and comforted her. Draco rolled his eyes.

"You don't know A THING!" Draco pointed angrily to her. "They outnumbered me."

"But-"

"-You weren't there!" Draco yelled, trying to make his way to her but Theo held him back.

"LET'S JUST GO AND FIND HER NOW!" Pansy yelled at all of them, telling them to be quiet. Theo stared wide eyed at her and the rest listened to her.

"Come on Draco, let's go." Blaise said and waited for him.

Draco turned and put on his shirt, swung his bag over his shoulder, and led them out. Theo went immediately by Pansy's side happily.

"The last time I saw her was in the Ravenclaw Common Room but of course she isn't there anymore."

They stumbled upon Hermione's bag as they walked down the corridor.

Pansy grabbed Hermione's bag and looked in it. She smiled sadly, that her bracelet that the three had matched with, was in there tucked away. She took it out and examined it with Ginny, then finally put it in her pocket. She was going to make sure Hermione wore this again.

"Let's go find her." Pansy said to the floor, and walked out with Ginny.

The boys looked confusedly at them but they followed behind. They walked all the way down to the main area of the school, and peeked behind a large pillar. Hermione stood there. She wasn't tied, she wasn't unconscious, but was stood in between two Death Eaters, in front of a whole group.

Pansy almost launched herself at her but was pulled back by Theo roughly, who held her wrist tightly, and gave her a look that meant she was in a bit of trouble. She huffed and peeked again. Hermione's back was facing them, all the people's back were facing them, so they didn't see any faces. They suddenly started walking to the door slowly marching.

"Come on." Blaise said narrowing his eyes at Hermione and they all took out their wands, starting to throw all sorts of spells. All while this happened, Ginny tried grabbing Hermione but was pushed away by a Death Eater.

She started fighting with him and Hermione still stood still. Draco saw this and pushed his way towards her. He grabbed her hand and without looking at her, they ran out of the crowd. He looked back at his friends.

"Don't worry about us." Theo said shooting a spell and protecting Blaise from one. Draco nodded and went behind the pillar and propped her against it on the floor.

He finally looked at her and he gasped, stepping away.

He started breathing heavily.

He didn't know what to do.

He started pacing and pacing.

What was he supposed to do?

He looked back at her, his eyes widened. She cheek was cut open, and blood ran down it.

In her thigh there was some sort of sharp object stabbed in her.

He looked at her, trying to look in her eyes but she just looked into space and blinked slowly.

He came down to her and put his hand hesitantly on her cheek. It shook violently as he went to make contact with her.

"Why aren't you yelling or screaming in pain?" He asked and she didn't flinch at his touch, she didn't move, and just continued to stare into space.

"Granger?" He asked hopefully, not waiting for her answer and lifted her up slowly on his back, and headed to the Hospital Wing.
