The scent of spices and tomato sauce attacked my nose as I sat at my table staring at the plate in front of me. Mason had went shopping for me and made me some spaghetti, knowing that I loved his spaghetti the most. A part of me wanted nothing more than to devour the entire plate, while the other didn't even want to touch it. "Ollie, you have to eat something," Mason told me, sitting on the side closest to my seat. I shook my head. My stomach was a twisted ball of nerves. After this, we were going to speak to the Alpha, and that had me worried beyond anything in my life. "Come on, Oliver. Think about the baby."

I glared at him. "I don't even know if I want this baby," I said. I felt Adeela's rage as she quickly took control over our body. Adeela! Adeela ignored me as she picked up the fork and started angrily eating the spaghetti.  Mason gave Adeela a smile before he started eating his own food. I started trying to get control, but Adeela refused to let me. She finished the plate and went up to the pot getting even more. I huffed angrily as I gave up fighting for control. Adeela began to eat again, this time more slowly. She cleaned the and smiled up at Mason. "The food was delicious. Thank you," she told him.

Mason gave her a smile. "Its always a pleasure. Its nice to see you, Adeela," he told us. I felt Adeela give him a wolfy smile, at which Mason chuckled. "Thank you for making him eat."  Adeela nodded before retreating back, giving me back control. I put a hand on my stomach. I felt stuffed. "Adeela hasn't taken over like that since you were twelve," Mason commented as he washed the dishes. I stood up and walked over to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water. "Hey." I looked at Mason as he turned off the water. "I know that you didn't plan for that to happen to you, nor did you plan for the baby that came from it." He turned towards me, holding my face gently with both of his soapy hands. "I just want you to remember that child is more yours than it will ever be his. Don't go tossing away a life just because it came from something horrible." He let  go of my face and I stood there. I didn't know how to respond to that. I started to walk to my room to get ready for the Alpha when Mason's voice drew my attention again. "I don't understand why, but maybe the goddess has a plan for the baby."

I looked away before heading up the stairs towards my room. Sorry for taking over. I pulled out some clothes from my dresser, making sure they were nice, but comfortable. "I should be the one sorry. I know we need to eat. I just-" I know. I walked into the bathroom and hopped in the shower. The warmth of the water hitting my skin had my tense body relaxing a bit. I think we should talk about what you're going to do. I grabbed the shampoo, putting some in my hand before massaging it through the longer parts of my hair at the top. "We're going to tell the Alpha what happened and he will punish Desmond for what he did," I responded, trying everything to convince myself that what I said would be the truth. I put my head under the water, rinsing the shampoo out. I think we need to leave this pack. I launched forward, wiping the water from my face. I turned off the water and stepped out of the shower. I wiped the steam off the mirror and looked at myself, my eyes swirling blue and brown. I noticed the blue wasn't as vibrant as it used to be. "This is our pack, what do you mean leave it? We grew up here. This is our parents house! We can't just leave it!" I heard a noise outside the door, but Adeela caught my attention distracting me from it. Think about it, Ollie. Alpha probably won't get rid of Desmond. Desmond will only continue to be a threat.  I looked away for a moment. "But-" I'm dying, Oliver. I looked back up at the mirror shocked. "What are you talking about," I whispered out. I can't heal the damage that the rejection is causing fast enough. At the rate it's going, I'm not sure if I'll make it without risking yours or our child's life. I felt my eyes water. I was angry, sad, and scared. "I can't lose you." I felt Adeela nudge at our control, but I knew she didn't want to take it over. I'm not going to stop fighting, but I want you to be in a safe pack. I couldn't stop the tears that came into my eyes. My knuckles were turning white from the grip I had on the counter.  After a few moments, I took a few calming breaths before nodding. Talk to Mason. Maybe silver moon can take us in.
