I couldn't help but laugh at Oliver's expression. Mason had managed to smear ice cream all over himself so after dropping Iris back to daycare, we brought him home to get him in the bath. Right now, Oliver was trying so hard to glare at Mason, who happened to throw water all over Oliver, but you could see he was fighting a smile from spreading all over his face. Mason giggled at me as Oliver gave me a look, as if trying to tell me not to egg him on. "Its not nice to throw water at Mommy," Oliver said to Mason, turning his gaze back to his son. Mason smiled up at him and Oliver sighed before soaping up a wash cloth. I stood next to the tub leaning against the sink, admiring how loving and caring my mate was being. He made sure no soap got into Mason's eyes as he washed the ice cream off his face, being delicate as he rubbed the washcloth over his face. "Mason no!" Water splashing all over me snapped me out of my thoughts as I stood straight, holding the wet shirt away from my chest. Mason started laughing as Oliver apologized profusely, scrambling to get me a towel. "That is not funny, Mason Dean! That was not nice!"
I smiled, taking my shirt off before taking the towel from my mate's hands. "It's okay. He was just playing around," I told him, winking at Mason who gave me a big smile. Oliver frowned at me, but I could see a blush creeping onto his face as his eyes drifted down my chest. When he looked up to see me looking at him, his blush got worse as he tried to quickly finish Mason's bath. Noctis and I were filled with pride that our mate was flustered by us being shirtless. Oliver started draining the tub out before wrapping Mason up in a towel. "Look at this delicious burrito!" I picked mason up and started noming his neck as I carried him to his room. Mason started squirming around as Oliver chuckled at us. I dropped Mason on his bed and he looked up at me laughing. I saw Oliver digging through Mason's drawers, tossing over underwear and a tank top to me. I knelt on the ground and started to help Mason get dressed. I noticed Oliver looked torn between giving Mason pajamas or comfy clothes. "Do you want to wear pajama pants or sweat pants?"
Mason looked over at Oliver and pointed. "Sweats pease," he said. He looked over at me. "I wanna match you." I looked down noticing I was wearing joggers instead of any type of actual pants. I chuckled and ruffled Mason's hair. He huffed at me before a yawn escaped him. "Can we watch the llama movie?" I looked at him slightly confused as he stared at me.
"Of course we can. Xavier, would you like to watch it with us," Oliver asked. I looked over at him, seeing a blush was still on his face as he looked down at the pants in his hands before handing them to me. "You don't have to if you have to get back to Alpha work." I shook my head at him as Mason held onto my arms to step into the sweats.
"I would love to watch this llama movie with you guys. I'm sure if Zander needs my help that he'll let me know," I told them. The only thing I was trying to get done today was set up a meeting with the alpha of Crescent Moon pack. He had reached out to us the other day asking to form an alliance with the pack so I was trying to set up a day he could come down, but my brother could easily handle that. Mason went to say yay, but another yawn managed to attack him right before he could say anything. I picked him up, hoisting him onto my shoulders. "Quickly! We fly to the living room!" Mason giggled, spreading his arms out as I quickly walked towards the living room, turning left and right dramatically. I leaned back on the couch to let Mason slip off my shoulders. When I stood up, a piece of fabric smacked me in the face. I grabbed it and looked at Oliver as he chuckled before grabbing the remote and sitting down on the couch, Mason immediately climbing into his lap. I tossed on the shirt he had thrown at me before sitting on the couch beside them.
When Oliver started to put on The Emperor's New Groove, the whole "llama movie" clicked in my head. Mason reshuffled himself so he sat directly in-between Oliver and I. He was rubbing his eyes before the movie even started. The poor kid made it about halfway through the movie before he was slumped against Oliver, knocked out. I slowly slipped out from beside him before leaning down to pick him up. "I can move him," Oliver whispered to me. I shook my head as I picked Mason up. He readjusted himself so his face was in my neck before he relaxed against me. I couldn't help but smile to myself at the small action. He accepts us, Noctis said to me. I was beyond happy that Mason accepted me. Finding comfort in my scent showed that not only did Mason accept me as a person, but his wolf accepted me as well. I slowly laid Mason down on his bed and the pup instantly curled up against his pillow. I covered him up before slowly leaving his room, making sure to crack the door so he could get out easily and so we could check on him. I turned around and nearly jumped out of my skin to see Oliver standing right in front of me. His hands were twisting in front of him, and his gaze never met my own. "X-Xavier," He muttered shyly. I placed my hand on his arm and he finally looked up at me. He held a look of determination in his eyes, but he looked completely flustered, which confused me. "C-can I t-try something with you?" I nodded to him and he took me into my room before pushing me slightly onto the bed so I was sitting down.
