"Don't you think its time to get over yourself," Xavier asked as he took everything out of his suitcase to fold everything I had just thrown into his bag. I glared at him for a moment before picking up my suitcase. Xavier sighed. "Zander, he was having a baby! She couldn't just leave him there."

"She could've when the doctor showed up. I mean what else is there to do when the pack doctor is there," I asked him frustrated. I was livid that Mom had left our goodbye party and didn't come back. Xavier and I had looked for her for a while before Dad told us what happened. "All I'm saying is I don't understand why she couldn't come back to spend time with us before the party ended." After putting everything back in his suitcase nicely, he slammed it closed and zipped it up. "What? Now you're upset?" Xavier glared at me.

"I'm annoyed because my twin can't grow up," he said taking me back for a moment. "I get it, you're upset Mom left the party. I was upset too, until I heard why. She was helping out one of our pack members. Stop making everything seem worse just because the omega was the one involved." I looked away from him with my jaw tensed up. Xavier came up to me and roughly shoved my shoulder, making me growl at him as he moved his face close to ming. "Stop being a jealous bitch and get over yourself." I grabbed my suitcase to prevent myself from punching him.

"Stop acting like you fucking know everything," I growled out. Xavier growled back as I started walking downstairs. You're both fucking children,  Proi growled at me.  I rolled my eyes.  Dad waited at the bottom of the stairs with his car keys in hand. He saw the look on my face and went to talk but I brushed past him, heading to the car.

When Xavier got into the car, the car ride had begun. Xavier and I looked out of our respective windows at the night sky. "Did you boys like the party," Dad asked, looking in the back mirror to see our responses. Xavier shrugged, never breaking his gaze from the outside. I returned to looking out of my window. Dad sighed. "Don't be too angry at your mother. She is just taking care of another pack member. Nobody can dictate when a baby is going to come or who is around when they do." I huffed at my father's words as Xavier faced forward, still refusing to look at me. "You know, when your mother went into labor with you guys it was during an Alpha ceremony." This caught my attention and I looked at my dad as he started to chuckle. "It was so funny. Your mother was freaking out, trying her best to tell me her water broke without causing a scene, but you know how your old man is. I wasn't paying any attention.  She yelled that her water broke during the most quiet part of the ceremony." I chuckled a bit. I looked at Xavier to see he had a smirk on his face. "Oh man, I can still remember the look on her face.  She was so embarrassed as the Alpha paused the ceremony to get her to the doctor.  She apologized for weeks."

"Sounds like Mom, " I said.  Xavier looked over at me before looking back out the window.  A bit of my anger washed away, and I felt like a jerk. I knew it wasn't Mom's fault. I couldn't blame the omega either.  Mom was just doing her duty,  and I have no reason to feel jealous about it either.

The car came to a stop and I looked at Dad who smiled back at us.  "I know the last thing you want is to go to some camp for three years, but I can promise you that they can teach you things that your old man can't.  Plus,  you can build relationships with the other Alphas.  Make allies," Dad said.  We nodded before stepping out the car.  Dad popped the trunk and we grabbed our suitcases.  Dad slung his arms around both of our necks.  "If you start getting adventurous,  there's a tattoo shop down the campus hill.  You'll have to get there early morning if you don't wanna get caught sneaking out. That's where I got this bad boy, " My dad said before holding out his arm,  showing off his tattoo of a forest inside a howling wolf.  We nodded acknowledging what he said.  "If you get caught,  don't tell your mother I told you. "

Xavier and I laughed as another car pulled up.  We turned and looked, seeing Grayson stepping out of the car, a large suitcase in hand. He looked ready to fall asleep.  "What you already getting tired, " I teased him.  I walked over to him, slinging my arm around his shoulders.  "Come on,  dude,  we still have three years here.  You can't be getting tired on us already."
