Chapter 27: Epilogue

*Emma's POV*

Why is it so dark? Why does it feel like I can't feel anything? Why do I feel numb? Why is it so quiet? What's going on? It's like I've fallen into oblivion... Did the spell work? Is everyone okay? Has the world forgotten about us being Vampires?

All these questions are going through my mind but all I see is darkness..

'Niall?' Maybe if he answers me I'll feel more alive... Since I feel lost and dead. Am I dead?... No I can't be dead. That's impossible... Unless.. Did I use too much of my power? Did I max out my strength? Did I kill myself?.. No... I didn't... Then why can't I wake up?

I force my eyes open, but all I see is darkness... Where's the light? Where are my beautiful children? Where are my husbands? I want to see them again! I want to hug my children once more... I want to feel Louis' lips on mine... I want to have Liam's arms around my body.. I want to see my family.

'Niall! Where are you?' I ask once more. I suddenly hear a constant ringing noise in my ears. Am I waking up?

'Emma!' Niall yells in my head.

'Niall! What's going on!?' What's going on? I want to wake up!

'Open your eyes Emma..' He tells me.

'They are!' All I see is darkness.

'No.. They're not..'

'Then why do I think they are?'

'Because.. You used so much of your power, you collapsed. It's been two weeks Emma.. Two.. Since you've been out.' I suddenly feel light coming through the darkness. I start feeling again, instead of feeling numb. My body rises up in shock.

"What!" I say out loud.... Wait, where am I? My eyes roam the room I'm in. This doesn't look like my room. I look down at the silk sheets. I'm in a queen sized bed, circled with rose pedals. I'm dressed in a pretty summer dress and I'm as confused as ever.

'Go outside. Have a great time. I'll see you soon.' Niall thinks to me and suddenly I don't hear him anymore. What is he talking about? Where is he?

I dangle my legs from the bed, and look at the closed door. I wonder where it'll take me when I open it. Will I suddenly be transported into a different world? Am I just dreaming and this is all just a dream?

I stand on the white carpet, noticing my feet are bare. I walk towards the closed door and put my hand on the knob. I take a deep breath and twist it open. I pull on the knob and see a hallway in front of me. This place doesn't look familiar. I walk out the room, walking down the hallway, feeling confused. I get to a staircase. Going down the stairs, I see the walls are all windows... And outside is the ocean. Seriously.. Where am I?

I notice an opening in the windows and further on the beach, there's a blanket and parasol on the sand. I walk towards it, looking around. It smells so good. The wind is barely there, and I just feel relaxed. I take a deep breath letting in the air in my lungs. I get to the parasol and blanket. I notice a letter on the blanket. I bend down and pick it up, reading it. It says 'yay! You're finally awake!' I furrow my eyebrows, looking around. This is definitely Louis' hand writing.

"Good morning sleepy head." I hear a whisper in my ear. I quickly turn around to see Liam standing there with a smirk on his face.

"LIAM!" I jump in his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck.

"Hey love. You feeling better?" I look at him and smile.

"I am now." I smash my lips on his, and savour this moment. I missed this. I finally feel safe and relaxed. No more drama. No more fighting. "Where are we?"
