Asami woke up the next morning and started looking for Korra, realizing the spot on their bed where Korra would be was empty.

She looked through all the rooms until she heard grunting noises from the indoor gym. When she opened the door, she saw Korra inside going up the salmon ladder.

"I was going to yell at you for leaving me alone, but this is even better," Asami said, leaning against the doorway.

Korra stopped right when she was about to go onto the next level, smiling at Asami while she held herself in a chin-up position.

"No, keep going!" Asami whined. Korra went up a few more times before she brought the bar down to the first level, dropping down and grabbing a blue towel to wipe the sweat off of her hands and face.

"Hello, beautiful," Korra said, walking over to Asami and planting a kiss on her forehead.

"Where were you last night? I woke up and noticed you were gone," Asami asked as Korra grabbed her hand, leading her back to the bedroom.

"Well, I couldn't sleep. So I went out and killed someone," Korra told her, shutting the door behind them.

"That's funny," Asami said.

"Who said I was joking?" Korra deadpanned and gave Asami the most serious look she could. "Relax I'm kidding," she added, giving Asami a smile.

"I'm kinda disappointed. If you were a secret murderer or something that would be hot," Asami said. Korra felt herself get nervous.

"Asami....I haven't been completely honest about what I've been doing the past three years," Korra scratched the back of her neck.

"Don't tell me your a famous assassin with a secret identity, like the Avatar or something," Asami joked with her, but Korra felt her throat tighten.

How was she supposed to tell Asami that she was right? Not only did Asami guess what she was, she also guessed who she was. She was saved by a knock on the door.

"Hey, you two. Get ready. We're meeting Opal," Bolin shouted through, and Korra sighed in relief.

"Just grab whatever you want," Asami said to Korra.

"No. You are not wasting your money on me," Korra told her, making an X motion with her hands. Asami rolled her eyes.

"Fine. Then I'll grab stuff for you," she said, running to somewhere else in the store. Korra just stood there awkwardly.

She looked up at the sound of Asami's voice and blushed when she saw what Asami was holding.

"I think this would look really good on you," she held up a small box with a strap-on in it. "Especially if you're using it on me."

"A-Asami! Put that down!" Korra whisper shouted, using her body to cover what Asami held. "I'll get stuff! Just...put that down!"

"Good," Asami said, throwing the box into the back of the cart. "I'm still getting that though. You're using it at some point."

"Well, at least we'll know what happened if Asami can't walk," Opal said. Korra blushed again when she realized Opal was right there the whole time.

"What is that?" Bolin asked, tugging on Opal's sleeve and pointing at the box in Korra and Asami's cart.

"Go grab a cart and go to the kids toy section," Opal told him, ruffling his hair. Bolin got excited at the mention of toys and ran off.

Korra had grabbed a lot of clothes and threw them into the cart since Asami kept on insisting that she got more.

Finally, Asami let her run off and grab a few random things. She got worried when she couldn't find Korra after an hour.

"Can Asami Sato come to the front office?" a voice came over the intercom. Asami sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Watch the cart for me," she wheeled the cart over to Opal, who nodded.

Once she got to the front office she saw Korra inside, playing with the other kids who had gotten lost and were waiting for their parents.

Asami smiled and watched for a few seconds, enjoying the happy and childish spark in Korra's eyes as she played with kids.

"Which one is yours?" The guy asked, holding a clipboard.

"Korra," Asami told him. He looked down the list and put a check mark next to Korra's name.

"Korra, look who's here for you," the man said. Korra looked up and her face got brighter when she saw Asami. She jumped up and ran towards her, pulling her into a hug.

"Never leave me alone in the store again!" Korra buried her face into her neck. Asami rolled her eyes and wrapped her arms around Korra.

"Baby....your twenty two years old, not two," Asami said, pulling out of the hug.

"And somehow you still lost me in the store," Korra pouted, crossing her arms and looking away from Asami.

~~~~~
Korra bent over the bathroom mirror and washed her face. Her, Opal, and Asami all got ice cream while Bolin went to play tag with Mako, and Korra had gotten ice cream all over her face.
Korra turned around and grabbed a wrist, knocking the girl onto the ground and putting a knee on her lower back.
"Still too predictable," Korra said, standing up and pulling the girl with her.
"I wasn't trying to attack you this time," Kuvira said.
"It's been a while, I kinda missed you," Korra pulled Kuvira into a hug.
"I didn't miss you," Kuvira hugged her back.
"Come on, I have someone I want you to meet," Korra grabbed her hand and pulled her outside. Asami and Opal stood against a large tree.
"Hey guys, I have someone I want you to meet," Korra walked up to them, and she noticed Kuvira's expression exchange when she looked at Opal.
"Hi, my name's Opa-......" Opal eyes widened when she saw Kuvira. "What is she doing here?"
"You two know each other?" Korra asked, confused as she put an arm around Asami's shoulder.
"I never told you my full name," Opal said. "It's Opal Beifong."
"What does that have to do with anything?" Asami asked.
"My name is Kuvira Beifong," Kuvira said.
"And? Oh....OH!" You could see the moment Korra realized what it meant.
"Yeah...." Kuvira scratched the back of her neck.
"That's why you're adopted," Opal growled quietly. A look of hurt came over Kuvira's face.
"Hey why don't you go play with Bolin?" Korra said nervously, and Asami understood immediately as she nodded and walked off.
"That's not fair, and you know it isn't," Kuvira whispered.
"What's not fair is that you left! Do you know how much we all missed you?!" Opal yelled.
"I..." Kuvira didn't know what to say.
"Do you know how much....I....missed you?" Opal whispered.
"How about we go back to Asami's house...you can talk there," Korra was starting to feel awkward watching them argue.
