"Asami?" Korra swiped her card on the hotel door and walked in, looking behind her and into the hallway to check for anyone.
"I'm in the bathroom!" Asami yelled. Korra sighed and decided to be productive.
She decided to do a few push ups to pass time. It had been a few weeks since her arm got shot and she decided it wouldn't heal if she babied it.
She took off her shirt and started at a quicker pace, doing two handed push ups to warm up. Eventually she switched to just the right arm, the arm that had been injured.
It hurt at first. A lot. But eventually she got into a steady rhythm. She saw something out of the corner of her eyes and stood up, a smile spreading to her face.
"Hey Sami. How long have you been standing there?" Korra asked.
"Oh maybe....since you started," Asami said, wrapping her arms around Korra's neck.
"We can start something else if you'd like..." Korra put her hands on Asami's waist and pulled their bodies right into each other.
"I'm liking the sound of that."
Korra lifted Asami up and leaned onto the bed, Asami's legs automatically hooking around her waist.
She grabbed Asami by her hair and pulled her head back, kissing down her neck while grinding in between Asami's legs.
Knock knock knock.
Korra didn't stop what she was doing. She thought that if she ignored it they would just go away. Asami let out a loud moan, and Korra thought for sure they would leave after hearing that.
But the knocking continued. Korra stopped and stood up, Asami groaning in frustration before standing up soon after.
"Stay behind me," Korra looked back and saw Asami nod at her.
She walked towards the door and pressed her and Asami against a wall, using one arm to reach around and unlock the hotel door.
The door opened. Korra jumped out from her place and pounced at the large and bulky man like an animal catching it's prey.
She threw a few punches, but the guy moved surprisingly quick for his large size. He grabbed her wrist and twisted it behind her back, causing her to let out a yelp.
He used his free hand to punch her square in the face and she stumbled back a little bit as her vision blurred.
The guy was blurry for a few seconds, but she could make out his figure walking towards Asami. Asami moved her head out of the way as the man's fist smashed through the wall behind her.
Korra's vision went back to normal and she jumped onto the guys back, wrapping one arm around his neck and holding tightly.
The man repeatedly tried to claw at her, but eventually she pushed all her weight forward and they both fell to the ground.
Korra stood up first. She walked behind the guy and snapped his neck, watching in satisfaction as his limp body fell to the floor.
"Are you okay?" Korra rushed over to Asami, who was staring at Korra and the body in disbelief.
"You...you just..." Asami stumbled back a few steps. She almost tripped over her shoe that was laying on the ground.
"I'm sorry you had to see that...I told you...a blood thirsty monster..."
Asami just kept staring. Back and forth between the two people, dead and alive. The hotel room door opened.
"Hey guys, sorry I took so long-" Kuvira walked through the door. "Shit. They found us."
Korra gave her a nod. Kuvira grabbed three duffel bags and threw all their clothes separately into each one.
"You aren't a monster Korra. You were...you were just trying to protect me," Asami pulled on her shoes.
~~~~~
"Where else are we supposed to go?" Korra asked. Her and Asami were in the back seat cuddling while Kuvira drove.
"I don't know. I'm just trying to get us as far away as possible."
