The Avatar's Love: Book 1

On The Run

It had been a few months since Korra, Kuvira, and Asami had left Republic City. Korra encrypted everyone's phones so that they couldn't be trapped, and they never stayed in one place for more than two days.

Korra and Kuvira had killed so many Red Lotus members they lost count, and were also teaching Asami how to fight. It was better for all of them now that they could practice with each other.

Right now they were in a forest. Korra had a blindfold on, and she was waiting for Kuvira and Asami to attack.

She felt something move in front of her and jumped forward, pinning Asami to the ground by her wrists. She smiled before leaning down to kiss her.

She stood up on her hands, still pinning Asami, and kicked her feet in the air, hitting Kuvira right in the face.

She felt something hit her in the stomach and let out a grunt, then was flipped over and felt Asami on top of her with something sharp pressed against her throat.

This time Asami leaned down for a kiss, but Korra quickly avoided it and jumped up, taking Asami with her and pinning her against a tree. She took her blindfold off and gave Asami a goofy smile.

"So she gets kissed and I get kicked," Kuvira said from behind them. Korra rolled her eyes and walked over to Kuvira.

"Sorry sweetheart," she rolled her eyes and kissed Kuvira on the cheek. "Now you both got a kiss. Feel better?"

"Maybe. We got to head to bed, it's late," Kuvira gestured towards the tent Korra had turned her bracelet into.

"Kuvira, do you have an extra hair tie? Someone stole mine," Asami glared at Korra, who was pulling her hair into a warrior's wolf tail. Korra gave her the signature crooked smile and shrugged her shoulders apologetically.

"Here," Kuvira took off a band she had around her wrists. Asami said thanks and pulled her hair into a low ponytail. They all headed into the tent since it had to be at least 10 pm, and Korra hung up a small lamp she made using a tin can, oil, and fire. The tent would be completely safe from it since it was her bracelet.

"Wait are we all sleeping shirtless? Because that's uhhh....that's kinda gay," Korra looked down at herself and then at the other three.

"Shut up. I get to see your guys' abs," Asami glared at Korra for the hundredth time that night.

"Jeez I was just kidding. I get to see your boobs. But still, that was kinda sus Sami," Korra said.

"Kor, I love you, but please shut the fuck up," Kuvira groaned and rolled in her sleeping bag so that she was facing away from the two of them.

"You are literally the gayest one here, Korra," Asami laid down and stared at nothing.

"I can show you just how gay I am," Korra said. Asami looked up and Korra was suddenly on top of her, pinning her wrists with one hand and using the other to slowly pull at the waistband of her underwear.

"You are not fucking while I'm in this tent. Go to bed," Kuvira used a stern voice, and Korra immediately stopped what she was doing and cuddled into Asami's chest.

"She scares me," Korra pouted and gave Asami big puppy eyes.

"I know," Asami told her, messing with the few strands of Korra hair that weren't pulled back.

"Go to bed!" Kuvira commanded. They both closed their eyes and went to sleep immediately.

Korra woke up in the middle of the night with a sinking feeling in her stomach. She sat up and opened the tent door, surprised to see a guy standing there with a gun. He didn't point it at her, he pointed it at something behind her.

Her eyes widened in fear when she realized it was pointed at Asami. She could try to take the guy down, but the safety on the gun was off and he had hos finger on the trigger.

"Come with me or she dies," he cocked the gun and Korra heard it click, proving he wasn't messing around.

"Okay," she put her hands behind her head and stepped out of the tent slowly, watching the guy keep the gun pointed at Asami.

Something hit her on the head hard, and she watched two other men carry her into a jeep before she completely blacked out.
