I'm sitting here on the couch just looking at my dad and soon to be mother. My father just announced that the wedding will be tomorrow and I couldn't be more surprised. A wedding this soon? Wasn't anyone notified? So many questions ran through my head,

"What type of wedding is it going to be? Where will it be at? Who is going to be there? What time will it be? What will I wear?"

My dad just looked at us awaiting an answer,

"Someone say something" he laughed

"Umm wow" was all I could get out

"Don't you think it's a little sudden?" my sister added "how is anyone going to get things ready for it?"

"Yeah" my brother pitched in "for the people that are going what are they going to do?"

My dad wrapped his arm around Bethany "we've got all that arranged we're having a barn wedding"

"Really?" I asked "I never thought of you as the barn wedding type"

"Well my family comes from a long line of country folk" Bethany laughed

"So whatever Bethany wanted I made it happen I want her to remember this day"

Then it suddenly occurred to me we all know nothing about Bethany's side of the family expect my dad,

"So today I want you all to help us get ready for the wedding" my dad said

"Is that why you said that we would have a busy day today?" Jake added

My dad nodded. He got up along with Bethany,

"I'm sending you guys a car to head to where we are having the wedding so be ready in an hour"

And with that he left along with his wife to be close behind. Once I saw his car pull off I told Maria to go upstairs so we could all talk,

"Okay is it me or is dad a little wacko" Rachel said

"I know!" Austin blurted out "I mean really tomorrow?! Doesn't he give anyone a heads up what if I had to go back or what if I had to work?"

Yes. My bother does work now after being off base for awhile he wanted to find something to keep him occupied while he was off. Jake came over and sat beside me,

"Well I think your dad has everything under control" he stated

"He wants to have a barn wedding that's so not dad that's all Bethany it's like she's going to control him over this whole wedding" Rachel said "if we go there and the decorations aren't what dad likes this wedding is called off I mean it's a wedding where two people get married not just one"

"Rays right, Bethany shouldn't be calling the shots" Austin added

"He just wants to make her day memorable" Jake then looked at me "that's all I would want"

I kissed his cheek then focused back on my siblings "Jakes right...I mean she makes him happy isn't that what we should be focused on"

"We also need to be in the same area with people we don't know" Rachel added "I'm pretty sure people know about the power couple Jayton and their daughter Maria what if someone tries to hurt her"

"We'll just stack up on security" I bluntly said

She crossed her arms over her chest. Something is telling me this is more than just wedding decor and guests.
