Our Lives Have Changed

Chapter Two

-Ryan's P.O.V-

"You don't know what you have until it's gone" if that quote isn't true than I don't know what is. I pulled into her drive way and opened my car door. Jake didn't know what he had until it shut the door in his face, and now that it's gone I'm going to make him regret ever hurting her I don't care what I have to do.

I locked my car door and went up to her house before I could even knock she opened it. Her eyes are red and tears are slowly coming down her face. She's wearing a white hoodie with black yoga shorts and her purple slippers I can tell she only has foundation and mascara on, she only wears that when she just wants to lay around the house. I don't get it she's so beautiful without make-up why does she continue to wear it. Once she looked at me she continued to cry I took her shaking hand and pulled her into me where she continued to sob,

"It hurts Ry, it really hurts!"

I held her closer and kissed the top of her head,

"I'm so sorry"

We just stood there my arms wrapped around her tiny waist and her face in my chest. I looked around and saw paparazzi taking our picture "go ahead make sure you print these out I wish Jake would see these" I heard her crying harder. I led her inside.

Once inside we went over to the couch I laid down and she laid down on top of me I wrapped my arms around her and she laid her head on my chest,

"Thank you" she quietly said

I looked at her and rubbed her back,

"For what?"

"Being here with me when you probably have something better to do"

"Even if I did have something to do nothing beats laying here with you"

"Thanks" she said

"I'm always going to be here for you"

Which is true. No matter what I'm going to be here for her...I think I'm starting to catch feelings for her.

An hour passed and I looked at her and she's asleep. I carefully pulled out my phone and went on Twitter. I went to Jakes timeline,

@JakeThomas: with my princess tonight no one should touch my queen

@ItsRyan: People don't realize how special someone is until their gone

I took a picture of Payton and I then put it on Twitter,

@ItsRyan: babygirl fell asleep on me. so cute, I'm always going to be here when she needs a shoulder, I'll be her soldier.

I wiped away a stray tear falling from her eye,

@ItsRyan: I hate wiping away her tears :( how could you hurt someone like that? I'm always going to be here for her

I got a notification that Jake mentioned me in a post,

@JakeThomas: @ItsRyan know your boundaries

@ItsRyan: I know my boundaries @JakeThomas but I will cross them to do what you didn't

People started adding their input but I didn't care. I said what I had to say. I looked at her and her eyes fluttered open,

"Hey" I quietly said

She smiled softly and looked around then laid her head back down on my chest. I saw Baylor walk over he growled at me then went over and laid on his dog bed. I heard her exhale,

"What's wrong?"

"I'm hungry"

I smiled "what are you hungry for?"
