The walk was ten times longer than it should have been because we had to find Zahra. Who does she think she is? We spend all this time looking for her, and she doesn't even bother to talk to us. Don't you think we have a right to know at least where she's from? Or why she's so distant. I mean seriously, nothing could be worse than what me and Sam have to deal with. At least we talk to people and try to hide it, but she is just plain out rude! Zahra doesn't need to take it out on all of us and ruin our day by making it sad and depressing because little princess is having a bad day.
Violet showed her the rooms back on the plane. She took the ones down the hallway (the ones away from all of us). What a little bratty princess. She needs her own hallway to herself. I caught Sam out of the corner of my eye helping her clean her sword. I frowned and called him over. He smiled, "What's up, Saige?" I glared at him and then glared at Zahra, "What's up? What's up! Sam, that Zahra is a brat! Why are you helping her?" Sam followed my gaze to Zahra. She sat on the couch. Even after being outside for a long time her hair looked perfect as if she just brushed and styled it. Sam's expression turned grim, "Saige, you always do this. She's done nothing to you, and there is nothing wrong with being nice. When will you learn that?" I sighed, and I felt my face turn red, "Sam, listen to me! We spent all this time trying to find her, and not to mention almost got ourselves killed for her to act like a bratty princess and not even talk to us! Talk about rude!" Sam put his hand on my shoulder and told me, "Snap out of it, and be nice!" He walked away from me, and started helping Zahra again. He glanced at me in irritation, and for the record I decided to stick my tongue out at him.
I stomped to my room like a three-year-old and slammed the door; shaking the whole plane. Xavier yelled, "DINNER!" But I didn't feel like going. I don't know if I can deal with that bratty Zahra. Even her name seems bratty. I could hear their conversations from my bedroom. I heard a little bit of everybody's voice except for Zahra's. I knew we were heading to Oakland next, and I already set it on ultra speed so we will be there bright and early in the morning. I didn't want to deal with Zahra any longer than I had to.
I heard my friends try to talk to Zahra, and it got really irritating. She wouldn't answer so I decided to solve the problem and go to bed.
Not long after I decided to go to bed there was a knock on my door. I didn't leave my bedroom or my bed, but instead I ignored it. The door opened anyway, and there stood Sam. He was dressed for bed, and all the pre-existing dirt was washed off, "Saige, I'm sorry, but you need to be nicer." He walked farther into my bedroom, but I stopped him, "Sam, I didn't come to dinner for a reason. So leave me alone." He sighed and walked out of my room. He closed the door leaving me alone.
The morning came quicker than I wanted. I got up and got ready, but this time I made sure to pack a lot of extra water. I had the plane land directly at her home because Sara's address was located on the outskirts of Oakland.
Everybody else was already ready. Zahra was still as irritating as she was yesterday, but I decided to try to ignore it. I know nobody was going to back me up because they all keep defending her.
My brother wouldn't talk to me, and neither would the others. He probably opened his big mouth and told them what I said about Zahra. Speaking of Zahra she still stood in the back of the group and wouldn't tell about her past.
We walked up Sara's stairs and knocked. I decided I would show Zahra how to speak and not to ignore people. I smiled and knocked again, "Miss Sara? This is Saige Olson. Mr. Lukas sent us." Footsteps got louder and louder, and the door finally opened. A lady no older than 30 opened the door. Her blonde hair was in a ponytail and a scar laid across her forehead and she frowned, "Come in, children, we have things to discuss." The way she said it made me nervous, but I followed her. I didn't bother to make sure the others did also because I figured they have Zahra to wait on so they could definitely take care of themselves.
