Silverton seemed so far away, and we have so little time. Even though the ship is at full speed, it still may be too late. That possibility sat in everyone's minds. Making everybody scary quiet. We all ate alone in our dorms, and nobody dared to turn on music or T.V. nobody said a word.
I walked down the hallway and bumped into Violet, but neither of us said a word. Neither of us knew what to say. I gave her a gentle nod and walked back to my dorm. I laid on my bed and stared at the ceiling. I laid there till I fell asleep.
The next morning was just as quiet. Nobody called for breakfast, but instead everyone ate alone and kept to themselves. I haven't seen Violet since yesterday, Zahra and Samuel were eating in the living room quietly. In the kitchen I found some leftover bacon and eggs to eat. I sat at the table and stared at the empty chairs and thought back to the first day of the quest.
The day dragged on hour after hour and minute after minute. Eventually we arrived. My stomach twisted nervously. I grabbed the map and quietly walked toward the door with my backpack strapped to my back. I greeted the others with a nervous glance. We all got the message leaving nothing to say.
