A girl with blonde hair and green eyes stood in the doorway. Her clothes were torn and stained with blotches of red. Her arms were covered in dry blood. Tears filled her eyes as Phoebe limped over to her, "Holly, what happened?" Holly didn't say anything as her glance focused on us. Phoebe backed up and leaned on the door frame, "Holly, these are my new friends: Violet, Zahra, Samuel, and Xavier." Holly waved, but didn't say anything. She looked down at Phoebe's ankle and whispered to Phoebe in her ear. Phoebe smiled, "Yeah I'm okay. Let's go back to the plane and get out of here." Holly shook her head and pointed to the cabin. Phoebe frowned, "Why?" Holly whispered to her again and Phoebe looked at the sky, "Yeah it is getting dark out." She looked to me, "Maybe we should stay for tonight." I exchanged looks with the others who all nodded, and I smiled, "That sounds like a great plan."
The log house was roomy and abandoned. Clearly nobody has been in it in several years. The walls were covered in mold and spider webs. The stairs were creaky and weak. Samuel started a fire in the fireplace. The heat felt good. Holly stayed close to Phoebe who I could tell was fighting to stay awake. Zahra fell asleep already and Xavier and Samuel were playing a game of Truth or Dare.
