Two World's Meet

A Visit

Sam's POV

What just happened! The demigods were all falling over with laughter and the Avengers, my teammates, were looking at a rat that used to be Tony. The most surprising part is that Hazel, the one that seems so sweet and innocent, had caused it.

"Turn him back!" Nat ordered the young girl.

"Okay fine."the girl replied in an annoyed tone. She didn't even look at the rat but it was turned back into Tony.

"Let that be a lesson, you shouldn't insult us. We've all come through a lot and some things bring back memories. Now Frank, you go."she said in a soft quiet tone. I could tell she was simply stating a fact, but it still bothered me that these kids could gone through so much. I watched as Frank walked up to his girlfriend.

"Well, I can't do much." He told us. He was about to continue but the room and exploded with chatter from his fellow demigods.

" 'can't too much?'

"The leader of New Rome says!"

"What about the Katoblepones!"

"How many times have you saved us!" This is all set at once, a chorus of voices demanding Frank own the things he done.

"Frank," Hazel told him once the other demigod were done talking, "you're one of the strongest of us, the incredible things you've done, you just need to admit how awesome you are."

"Me awesome,"Frank muttered to himself, "more like me the klutz."

"Frank! I would have been dead a hundred times over if not for you!" Hazel scolded him.

"Come on Frank, show them what you can do."Piper told him encouragingly.

"Okay. Each of you tell me one animal."he said the last part directed at us. I was nervous since the last time animals were brought up Tony had been turned into one.

"Don't worry I won't do anything to you." The young man said, realizing the source for our hesitation.

Each of my colleagues at an animal, a cat, a dog, a horse, a deer, a bear, a buffalo, and an owl.

"Ok, just don't freak out when you see the bear." Frank told us. He then took a deep breath and Hazel took a few steps back. Just then where Frank had been one second ago there was a cat, then it changed to a dog, and then a horse, then a deer, a bear, a buffalo, and finally an owl. The owl flew around the room twice,before landing on the ground and turning back into Frank.

"So yeah that's my power. I can turn into animals at will."Frank told us with a monotone voice. " Will, do you want to go?" He said while looking at Will.

"No I think my Powers might be more useful after Nico demonstrates." The blonde haired boy said.

"I agree!"Frank laugh, " how about you go Leo."

"Sounds fun!" the Latino elf said. "I'd step back for this." He then said to us. I realized that all of his teammates were quickly making their way to the wall. I decided to follow in their footsteps.

"Okay, now that you're all a safe distance away, I can tell you that I'm a son of Hephaestus. I control fire."I looked at him confused for about half a second before he burst into flames. I stood there rooted to the ground while flames consumed the boy. Then just as quickly as the flames appeared they were gone.

"You should see your faces!" He told us, he was laughing so much that I could see tears coming out of his eyes."never gets old!"he laughed for several more minutes before he spoke again, "okay Cal, it's your turn now.

"Fine." The girl called Calypso said. "I can control the winds to some degree." She told us, "to demonstrate," she gently flicked her hand and the training dummies that sat around the room flew five feet into the air before crashing back down again. " Okay now who's left? Isn't it Jason, Percy, Annabeth, nico, and Will?"

"Yep!" I said popping the "p".

"Well then Annabeth, what about you?"

"Calypso... I suppose so."I didn't understand the strange change she had in the tone of voice. When she started the sentence she sounded annoyed but when she finished she seemed shocked. Annabeth traded places with Calypso in the middle of the room.

"I guess I have a power too."she said still sounding as if she was miles away. I noticed the confused looks on the other demigods faces, don't they know each other's powers? They never seemed surprised before? I watched as Annabeth spread her arms and a window popped open. I was even more confused than before, all the sudden I watched as several hundred owls flew into the room, I watched in shock as they flocked around Annabeth and seemingly lifted her off the ground.

Annabeth's POV

---------a few minutes earlier------------

I was highly annoyed when Calypso told me to demonstrate my powers, I didn't have any. Oh well I guess I'll just have to tell them that my powers are being smart and deductive thinking. Just as I said her name though to ask what she was thinking my friends and The mortals froze, then I saw my mom.

"Hello Annabeth." She said "you will now have the powers to control magical owls, they will only be there when you call for them, also Annabeth, when they ask you to join their team you all must say yes. The fate of their world and your depends on it!" Then my mom was gone.

–-----time skip back to annabeth's demonstration--------

It felt incredible to control the owls. But even better with the look on Percy's face. After 30 seconds I had the hours gently place me on the ground and fly back out the window.

Percy walked towards me and whispered in my ear, "wow, just wow wise girl!"

"You're impressed?" I whispered back.

"Of course wise girl, I'm guessing your mom just gave you this power."  I just nodded. "Okay Annabeth, you get to pick who's next." he told me in his normal talking voice.

"Jason I think it's your turn." He just smiled and walked to the middle of the room while me and Percy retreated to the edges of it.

"Don't freak out." He told the Avengers, I wasn't surprised as he started flying and made the energy around him crackle he electricity, some of the Avengers were though.

"It took for years to control lightning without the hammer!"Steve quietly said to himself. After about 30 seconds Jason ended his demonstration.

"Nico your turn!" I found it entertaining how we were treating this like a game. I guess I was better than treating it like we were truly showing these mortals are potentially deadly powers.

"Not too much death boy,"Will told his boyfriend, "I can only pray to my dad so much in one day."

"Don't worry Will." Nico responded. He then switched to ancient Greek, apparently not wanting to ruin the surprise for the mortals. "Just one shadow jump and one skeleton." Before his boyfriend could protest he walked into the middle of the room.

"Hi I'm Nico, but of course you know that already." He then took off running to the nearest shadow. Disappeared, and came out the opposite wall. Without missing a beat he raised a skeleton and gave it a fist bump. He smiled at us and waved his hand to tell the skeleton to go away. Following orders the skeleton collapsed into nothingness.

"I can teleport using shadows and raise the Dead." he told them calmly, but as he attempted to walk back to Will he tripped and fell to the ground. Will ran over, and started lecturing Nico about overexerting himself while pulling out and feeding him some ambrosia. I watched us some color came back to Nico's face before Will help him stand up and walk back over to the wall.

"As you can tell," Percy said in a narrator's voice, "Will is a healer, now it is my turn." He stopped the narrator's accent, "now where's the pool?" He demanded from Tony. The man pressed a button on the wall behind him and a pool appeared against the West Wall. I was not surprised when without a word Percy ran to the pool.
