Broken Fight//s1 Final

Steph

"Here you go." Iris got down to Apollo on the other side of the campfire.

"Thanks." Apollo smiled as he held the cup of tea Leo had prepared.

Iris

"I see Leo has upgraded on his herbs." He sipped.
"Yeah." I chuckled. "He's starting trying out like medicine too."

Steph

"I'm gonna get wood." I stood up with my voice softer than usual.

Apollo

"What's with you?" I took a sip of tea when Iris exhaled and looked down at her knees at her chest.
"Steph kissed her and now it's awkward between them." Leo said joining all of us.
"Leo?!" Iris blushed.

Alice

"It's gonna get better." I said next to Iris. "Steph is gonna come back to it, just, not yet."
"Speaking of..." Athena said "we need to head back to Atlas soon. Apollo was the radiation activity they picked up. I'll contact them later tonight. Early tomorrow let's do a check in around the forest here." We all agreed when Steph set the wood in the fire. "Let's finish up dinner and whatever so we can get some rest."

Anthony

I looked over at Athena after her orders while she was fidgeting with a wolf moonstone necklace. "You okay?" I asked and the team went quite.

"Yeah." She said. "I'm just scared about coming back home."
"About what?"
She shook her head "It's nothing."
"Athena..."
She didn't reply.

"She's stressed Anthony." Aphrodite said "Just drop it-"

"Please? I'm here to help-" I reached for her hand.
"If you trying to help you would leave me alone!"
She stood up next to me.
"It's my job!" I argued back and stood across from her.
"Just your job?!"
"Well, I'm being paid my Atlas to watch over some jerk who needs someone to baby her because she has issues with being alone."
Athena went quiet and tears formed in her eyes. My mouth then lost control "You blame everyone else for what you've gone through but everything is your fault! You don't even deserve being the leader of this team! You only care about yourself! You're just a freak!" I froze when I heard my own words.
She didn't reply and the team was completely silent. "Athena." I said when she made her way into her lion. "Athena!" I yelled after her but she didn't answer when she was out of my view.

I sat down back on the log of wood in guilt when Aphrodite and Apollo went after their younger sister.

I pulled my hair back and slouched over my knees. "I should have just shut up." I said under my breath.
I looked up at the team and they all had anger written on their faces other than Chris, Steph and Alice. The main members really do care for Athena. Now I know what's gonna come over me because I made her cry.

Apollo

"Athena?" I led Aphrodite into her lion when Athena was stuffing random things into a duffel bag. "What are you doing?" Aphrodite said behind me.

"I'm staying here on this planet forever." She sobbed softly. "He's right I don't deserve this. This team, this life, everything I ever had. I'm so selfish."

"Hey." I pulled the bag from her hands and hugged her. "You're not selfish. Anthony just said things out of anger."
"But he's right." She pushed me back.
"No he's not." Aphrodite hugged Athena tightly. "We would know Athena. You're nothing like what Anthony said."
She answered with sobs as I hugged both of my sisters to comfort them.

Anthony

The next morning I entered Athena's lion to see her putting on her armor. "Athena. I-" She walked past me without saying anything or even making eye contact.

I sighed and followed her to the team meeting.

Athena

"Split up in even groups or partners. Sweep an area of the forest or village. I'll go on my own. Meet here in an hour. Atlas will be here in three." I put my Paladin helmet on "See you then."

Anthony

We split up and I stayed with Chris and Willow. I hope Willow won't hurt me.

Chris

I kept an eye on Anthony through our walk through the town.
"You okay?" I asked.
"I just feel bad." He replied.
"You should!" Willow replied "If anything you should feel even worse."

Athena

I was calmly walking in the forest but I could sense someone unknown following me.
I made my way over a bush when I felt another one.
I grabbed my bayard and transformed it into my spear.
I was alerting myself. I froze in place in an empty spot of the woods. I turned my body and looked in my surroundings.
Without warning I felt a hard force push my body over.
I grunted and sat myself up trying to reach for my bayard after it had transformed back.
Radiation powers were shot at my hand, burning through the cloth and burning my hand.
I whimpered and held my injured hand. I looked up and saw Lydia and Lucas. "Hello." Lucas said shot his powers near my chest, breaking my armor and pushing me on my back.

I gasped for air as my vision for blurry. My body was hit up against the tree, severely injuring my back and shattering small shards of glass in my helmet.

I landed on my chest and trying to push myself up. I couldn't see anything. Everything was just a blur. I used my galra senses to track them. I could sense one of them when I powered up and shot my powers at the siblings, which they easily dodged.

Lydia teased me with a sarcastic pouting face. Lucas used his powers to drag my body closer to them.
They looked over me with one on each side when I felt the bones in both of my legs break.
I screamed so loud I may have even made my ears bleed.
I sobbed in pain well Lydia shot her powers through my armor and aimed at my abdomen area.

Anthony

"Did you guys hear that?" Aphrodite said in our ears when we all froze to the painful, loud screams.
I froze in fear when I realized that I couldn't feel or sense Athena's emotions.
"It's Athena!" I hollered and ran last Chris and Willow.

"Athena!"I yelled running through the forest. "Athena-?!" I grunted when I fell over a bush that could reach my knees.
I looked up tot he empty area of the forest and saw Athena's still body.
"No!" I pushed my body up and ran to her.
I could sense and hear the rest of the crew behind me.
"Athena?!" Aphrodite and Apollo kneeled on the other side of her.
"Please no." I said under my breath and pulled off her helmet.
I threw it to the side "Take off the chest plate !" Aphrodite said in a rush.
We threw the armor off her and Apollo tried to heal her as I held her in my arms.
"It's not working." Apollo panicked.

"Contact, Atlas!" Aphrodite ordered when Grey teleported and the rest of the team made it back to the camp.
