Car Crash//s4

Anthony

"You didn't have to spend so much money for me." Athena chuckled a few minutes after we had gotten back home from the wedding reception.
I suddenly felt enraged for something that I shouldn't be angry at.

Athena

"Why can't you just be thankful for what I do?!" Anthony yelled at me after we both had changed in more comfortable clothes before bed.
"Hey, babe...relax-" I said calmly and chuckled nervously "We had a long night let's just head to bed-"
"No!" He stopped me. "I work so goddamn hard for you and I never get a thank you!"
"Really?!" I lost my temper. "Well I'm sorry let me just go out and sacrifice myself yet again to save the entire universe that you live in." I yelled and felt my galra side showing through my fangs and claws. "I-I cook for you, I clean up your clothes, I do everything for you! All you do is say you're there for me but sit on your lazy butt and do nothing!"
"Nothing?!" He scoffed in rage. "I work just as hard as you do. At home and at work. I'm never noticed or appreciated because of you! You take all the lime light!"
"You think I want that?! I would do anything to get out of the lime light. I want you to feel appreciated but I can't control a goddamn thing going on in the world, Anthony." I sighed "You can be a real jerk sometimes."

He exhaled and shouted at me with his finger pointed at me. "I don't even know why I'm in a relationship with you. Sometimes I just wish you would never wake up from that coma! I wish that the Queen Family made you their permanent weapon! Why do I even love you?! You're always grumpy, you order everyone around,"
"That's my job-!"
"You always worry everyone. You're just a pain!"
"I can't control when I get hurt or not! At least! At least I'm keeping the team safe and alive."
"The team would be perfectly fine if you weren't alive!"

I stood silently with tears in my eyes as Anthony stood back, silently panting. His eyes widened in guilt but it was too late to take back anything he just said.

Anthony

"What the hell did I just say?" I panicked in my head. "I had not even a bit of control of what I was saying, like I was being controlled."

Athena

Without speaking, I ripped off the necklace he gave me and the ring. I threw them at him.
I stomped silently to the door as I heard the jewelry clang against the metal floor.
"Athena!" He yelled after me when I grabbed my coat from the coat rack and put on my comfy slippers.

I walked down the hall sobbing and wiping my tears.
I grabbed my car keys from the coat pocket and made my way to the lot.
"I'm so stupid." I said under my breath and pulled the coat hood I've met head. I could feel my powers heat up my body.
"I need to calm down." I thought. "If my body heats up too much from my powers, I'll go unconscious and I'll be extremely weak."

My tears blocked me from seeing clearly while driving. The soft ringing in my left ear can be heard too in my right, the ringing growing louder by the second. When a tear fell I saw that I saw driving on the wrong side of the road with a car coming at me.
"Quiznack!" I said to myself and swerved my wheel.
I could feel my car fall on it's side and it felt like I was rolling down something. I saw nothing outside the windows, just black from the dark of night.
Glass shattered and I guess I hit my head on something to make me go unconscious.

After a few seconds everything was completely still. My head was leaning to my right and my eyes barely opened when I could hear a group of running footsteps coming down and closer to me.
"Miss?!" I young woman called out. "Are you okay?" Those were the last words I heard before going unconscious again.

Anthony

I was put in voicemail multiple times but I only left two calls but many texts.

"Hey, babe." I said after the beep. "Please answer. Please." I begged with my voice breaking. I gained composure "I didn't mean what I said. I was tired and I lashed out at you. I would never actually wish that on you. It's late and I need to know if you're okay. If you hear this please come home. I understand if you hate me and I deserve it. I just need to know if you're safe. Please, answer. It's late. Please come home. Please. I know you don't want to speak or even see me but, I just need to know if you are safe. I don't want you being out this late all alone. You can protect yourself but...I'm just scared something is gonna happen to you. Please get back to me or come back home." I sighed "I love you. Bye-bye."

Kristen

I was reporting to an accident at the outside forest of Atlas, just a few miles from Atlas it's self.
After I hopped out of the ambulance I could see the pushed grass and scratched up trees.
"This way." I said and came down the steep hill.

I ran down and saw a crowd of people working together to get the victim out of the car, laying on its side. Some grabbing the person and some using their devices' flashlight for a guiding light.
They eventually got them out and laid them on their back.
"Back up please." I ordered with ambulance crew behind me with a carrier stretcher.
I got down with the flashlights laying on the young lady's body. I looked at their face and saw a severely injured Athena.
"Athena?!" I panicked and lifted her numb body, resting and strapping her onto the stretcher.
