Before They Leave//s2

Apollo

"Let's spilt up." I ordered "Nora, Kristen, Alice, Chris and Leo; get Lynn and Willow back to the pod and try to treat them. Anthony go find Athena. The rest of us; sweep the place for anyone in danger."
They all nodded and went off.

Anthony

I ran around the place and couldn't find her. "Athena?!" I hollered climbing down and stair case.
"Help..." I heard softly in the room to my right.
I kicked the door down with my powers.
I saw Athena near death, laid and tied to a metal bed. "Help..." She asked raspy.
"Athena!" I rushed to her side. I saw her extremely skinny body and it's like she's near death's door.

Athena

"Anthony?" I turned my head with pain in every inch of my body.
"I'm here." He rested his hand on the side of my head. "I'm gonna get you out of here."

Anthony

As I freed her she strained in pain and once I carried her body she whimpered loudly. "Let's get you out of here."
"No ones here." Steph said in the earpieces.

"Head back to the pod."

Willow and Lynn were in comas for about a week but Athena still hasn't woken up since we made it back, 1 month ago.

I stayed by her side every day wondering what they did to her.
All our meetings were in her hospital room.
"If they injected all three of them with each crystals that with change them especially Willow." Kristen said. "Athena and Lynn already have extreme powers so fusing just one crystal with their cells will make them one of the most creatures on the planet. For Willow she's gonna have powers which must be as powerful as Athena's and Lynn's new abilities. " Kristen opened a folder "Atlas officials are sending them off for training and testing. When Athena wakes up they'll give her 4 to 6 weeks to stay here before they all go."
"Where?" I asked. "Go where?"
"Thats info that can't be shared. I don't even know." Kristen replied.
"Why was no one there?" Iris said suddenly. "Why aren't they attacking us now?"
"If they do attack we need to send security with them. They are targets. I'll go-"
"You can't." Aphrodite said "You were given orders to stay here."
I sighed in stress. "What if something bad happens to them?!" I stood up to prove my point. "Athena can't walk on her own without braces and they broke nearly every bone in her body. They broke both of her arms, a rib, burned her neck and hand. They electrocuted Willow and injected her with something that might destroyer own body because she doesn't have the strength to take so much power. Lynn was shot two times in the rib area with radiation powers by her own siblings. She got a concussion and fractured leg. You're gonna tell me they don't need security?!" I yelled and everyone went silent. "They are strong as hell but they are at their weakest moments! If they get attacked they'll be limited on protection. We don't even know where they're taking them! What if that place is just a trap or is an abandoned farm that is easy to track?! What if we loose them forever? Then what?" No one answered. "I'm going. I don't my care if I loose my job or even my life."

"Relax." Alice said and rested her hand on my shoulder. I pushed it away and angrily left the room. 

Chris

"Babe, I'm home." I came back to the apartment that night.

Willow

I was reading my book when Chris came into the bedroom and immediately climbed onto my body.
"What's going on?" I asked hugging his body and messed with his hair.
"I don't want you to go." He said softly.
"I'm sorry. You can always visit."
"I want to wake up next to you."
I chuckled silently while looking down at him. He shut his eyes and cuddled his face tightly on my stomach.

Anthony

I was working out late at the training room when Nora and Kristen bursted in shock.
"What the hell?!" I got startled.
"Athena's awake." Kristen said.
Without responding, I put my shirt back on and rushed to the hospital.

I made my way down the hall and as I came closer to her room I could hear her softly humming to herself.
I held my hand on the door handle when Kristen and Nora smiled at me "Go!" Nora whispered.

I immediately saw Athena sitting up with her head facing the window. Her eyes staring at the starry sky and her adorably humming.

Athena

I turned my head slowly to see Anthony standing at the doorway. "So much for that promise. I forced my wounded voice out to greet him with a soft yet bright smile.
He threw his bag down and rushed to my side. He rested his hands on my face and kissed me.

Anthony

I pulled back when she broke down in tears. "Hey, hey. What's going on?" I still hand my hands on her face. I could feel her heart beats get faster and about to break down.
"I'm supposed to have a brave face for our team but, I was so scared. I thought I was gonna die. They're right ; I'm the worst excuse for a leader." She sobbed.
"Oh..." I pulled her to my chest.  I powered up and comforted her with my wings with one of my legs sitting me down on the edge of the bed.
"I was scared." She sobbed.
"I know." I rested my chin on her head "I know but, you're safe now."
She buried her face in my chest and Her sobs got louder. "Let it out." I ran my hand down her hair "I'm here."
"I don't want to live this life." Her ears fluffed and she whimpered "Putting myself and y'all in danger. I'm a horrible leader, let alone person."
"You're wrong." I responded "You're the best person I know. You lead the team with wisdom, care, loyalty, persistence and much more. If you weren't our leader; there wouldn't even be a team."
She sniffled and the tips of her ears quivered.
