5 days later.

Aphrodite

"Aphrodite?!" I heard my name be called as I was making my way into the training room for the test. 
I turned and saw the applicant I wanted to meet for Athena.
"Hey, Anthony." I smiled as other's trying out for the test entered the room behind me.

Anthony Wright
-18, a few days older than Athena

"Am I late for anything?" He asked. 
"No." I shook my head. "Just to prepare you; Athena can be very hostile towards people she meets for the first time. So if she yells at you, don't take it as completely serious. She's also shy and has a really bad fear of being alone. Once she warms up to you, y'all will be the best of friends. "
"Okay." He nodded with pride "I'm ready."
"Oh." I said as we entered the room "You don't have to take the test but Athena is still gonna be hard on you."

Iris

"No powers." I hollered at Athena while I set a shield around the team and the participants.

Athena

"My name's Alice." The young girl said in front of me as I handed her the staff.
I said nothing and got in a fighting stance. "I guess we're starting-"
I attacked and she shield herself with her staff.  "Never just stand there not ready for a fight." I growled and kicked her ankles.
She grunted and fell back onto the mat. I pushed my staff down when she rolled on her side and got back up on her feet.
With my back turned to her I felt her try to hit my back with her weapon.  I swiftly dodged it and did behind her, poking her back to make her fall on her chest.
She panted and pushed herself off onto her knees. "I yield." She said.
I held my hand out and helped her up. I stared into her eyes and could see her passion of helping others and never giving up on the ones she loved. "Stay back after everyone took the test."

"Welcome to the team..." I said softly and stood ahead of three of the participants that passed.

"Just because you passed and are on the team; doesn't mean what you did was perfect. Each one of you needs something to work on and with training we'll strengthen your weaknesses."
"I'll see tomorrow at training. I'll send you all the email."

They exited the room and saw them celebrating. I sighed and tied my hair up as I reached for a bottle of water in my bag.
"Quite a speech." Aphrodite said behind me as I stood up straight.
"Shut up-" I turned to her and saw a stranger, around my age, standing next to her.
"Hi!" He said with a bright smile "I'm Anthony Wright." He held his hand out to shake.
I silently hesitated to shake his hand. "I was hired by your sister to be your bodyguard/ helper."
I pulled my hand back with rage and looked up at Venus.

Grey

"Uh oh." Leo said behind me.
I teleported Anthony to us and Flynn set a shield around us just seconds before the fight began.

Aphrodite

"Why would you hire some stranger to watch o er me?!" Athena's eyes went galra and her fangs sharpened.
"I'm trying to help you, Athena!"
"I understand you want to help me but, not only are you triggering my rage and social issues, you put the whole team in danger! What if he's a spy Huh?! What if he's out to get me?!"
"I'm just trying to protect you." I said softly to calm the situation.
Athen exhaled and pulled her hair back tightly.  I felt the floor beneath us shake when she sent out a wave, making me fall over.
