Aiding the Team//s4

Lucy

The dust and dirt in the air departed and everyone was unconscious; Athena, my family, soldiers under my dad's command.
I sent down the shield when Kristen, Grey, Nora ran to her aid.

Kristen

"Athena!" I sprinted and nearly fell. "Athena!" I repeated and got down to her when Atlas members arrested the all the criminals. "Wake up, kid!" I yelled holding my hands on her shoulders and shaking her softly as the markings on her body faded.
I held my ear to her nose and mouth to check her breathing and carried her light and wounded body.
Members of the medical squad ran to us with a stretcher and we rolled Athena away.

Chris

I was sat up against the wall when medics checked up on us.
"Please!" I heard Alice scream in pain. We all looked at Aphrodite holding her back from chasing after Flynn's stretcher. "Let me go!"
"Calm down, Alice." Aphrodite said.
Willow left the medic's side, the one bandaging my wounded and bleeding leg, and used her powers to put Alice to sleep.

Aphrodite

Willow quickly stepped back when Alice's body fell in my arms.

A week later

Anthony

The whole team was hanging out in Athena's hospital room but Iris,  Chris, Willow and Alice were resting at home and Flynn was in a separate hospital room across from Athena's. Both Athena and Flynn  had already been in a coma for a few days.

I entered the hospital room and everyone stared at me.

Nora

Apollo suddenly stood from the couch up against the wall and began to storm to Anthony.
"Hey. Hey." I stood in front of him. I looked up at him with his focus still on Anthony. "You're still in a weak condition." I said with Aphrodite coming up behind her brother. Apollo panted in anger with his eyes glowing. "Just relax."
He sat back down and sighed.

Apollo doesn't want to be near Anthony. He has never forgotten what happened the day after the car crash.

The beeping on Athena's heart monitor suddenly went flat. We all went in silent panic.
"Everyone out!" Kristen yelled with her and Grey staying with Athena.

Alice

"Athena!" Anthony shouted and we all left the room.
I dragged him outside and tried my best to keep him out.
"Let me go!" He yelled at me.
"Clam down." Steph said.

"Clear!" We heard Kristen yell but the flat lining still going.

Kristen

I put the AED away and did manual CPR. "Come on, kid." I panted. "You're not gonna die on me!"

Grey

"Look!" I said with excitement when the heart monitor began to beep normally. 

Willow

We all felt relief when Athena's heart began to beat but Anthony got out of Alice's grip.
"Wait-!" She hollered after him.
I rested my hand on the side of his head and made him fall asleep.

Alice

I snuck into Flynn's hospital room after visiting hours.
"Hey, Flynn." I said softly and pulled the armchair closer to his bed. I grabbed and held his hand. "It's been a week..." I teared up and sniffled, looking at my thumb softly rubbing on his hand. "Kristen had to perform CPR on Athena today." I cleared my throat "Athena's fine but, still out. The team is still a little shaken after the attack. It's like we're breaking apart. It's not the same without you or Athena." A tear fell on my hand. "We need you. I...I need you."

Kristen

I was heading back home after a long shift. I stopped in front of Flynn's room when I thought I heard someone talking.
"Hello?" I slowly opened the door to the dark room.

Alice

I quickly turned back and froze in guilt when I saw Kristen.
"Alice?!" Kristen sighed. "You should be home."
"I know." I stood up and put my bag on my shoulder. "I just wanted to see him."
"You can hang out with him all day tomorrow." Kris rested her hand on my back as I left the room. "I promise. Right now, you need to go home and get some sleep. "
I wiped my tears "Okay." I replied and softly nodded.

Anthony

I woke up in my apartment bedroom. I groaned and stretched as if I had woken up in the morning. When I turned my head I saw Alice, Chris, and Steph.
"Quiznack!" I hollered and jumped.
"Sorry." Alice said softly.
I sighed and sat up in bed "What the hell are you guys doing in my apartment?"
"We wanted to make sure you were okay." Steph said. "Since the rest of the team basically despises you, we're the only ones to volunteered to watch over you." Alice smack the back of his head. "What's the hell?!"

"It's fine." I sighed and got out of bed. "You guys can head home. I'll take care of myself."
"Are you sure?" Chris said.
"I'm fine." I repeated. "Plus...I kinda need to be alone for a while."
