Nightmares//s1

Third Person

Athena comes back from mental hospital. Aphrodite drives her to their apartment.
(Athena shares one apartment with twins who are Paladins and Aphrodite  with other Paladin)

Athena

"Where are we going?" I asked, listening to the soft music playing over the car radio.
"I'm bringing you back to your apartment with the twins." Aphrodite replied.
"I'm fine living with mom and dad."
"Clearly your not!"
"Why do you care?!" I growled.
"I'm your older sister! Mom and Dad are always at work and I'm the only person who's going to be there! Apollo went missing when we were kids! He's not here to protect me or you so I have to!"

Apollo is the eldest. He went on his first mission when he was 14 and we haven't seen him since. Aphrodite was 7 and I was 5 at the time.

I sighed and stared out the car window with my hood pulled over my head and my elbow resting on the window, holding my head up.
Aphrodite sighed. "I know I can be a pain, Athena but, I'm just trying to protect you. Your my family. My little sister. You're not even an adult and you have so much responsibilities with Atlas ever since we found out you have powers, which was extremely difficult for you. You discovered them later than you should've. Now that you're training you have all the stress coming to you; then your trauma and mental health issues are coming back to the surface. Being The black Paladin and one of the Atlas leaders is hard when your only 17; you're turning 18 in just a few weeks. If you need help or a break, go for it. Open up to your team, family, friends. I know how you aren't mentally stable and you hate meeting people but you gotta talk to people and make new friends. You have people here to help you. Again, I'm trying to protect you-"

"If you were trying to protect me why would you send me into a place that's gonna make me worse!" I yelled, feeling my galra side come to the surface.
" You sent me there because I committed self harm then that hell hole made me worse!"

Aphrodite took deep breath to try to keep her calm tone. "I know you have a issue with being alone. It's so bad to the point you have consistent nightmares about it. Mom and Dad were, and are always at work as we grew up and now. Apollo and I had to go to school and you were left alone in some daycare. You were naturally not the people type so you had no one. You grew trust issues and here we are." She exhaled and shrugged  "I'm really sorry Athena. I really am but, I'm just trying my best to make sure you're okay."

I walked behind Aphrodite while she led me to my apartment. I felt guilt come over me as I listened the soft clicks of my sneakers on the clean metal floor.
I pulled my hood over my head and stuffed my cold hands in the pockets of my jacket, fidgeting with the loose thread poking at me.
I had thoughts running in my head when I froze and I couldn't stop the tears from flowing.

Aphrodite

I had that instinct feeling something was going on with Athena. When I looked back I saw her head down and her softly crying.
"Athena?" I turned towards her.
"I'm sorry." She sniffled as I came towards her. "I'm sorry I yelled at you. I'm sorry I'm such a spoiled brat-"
I interrupted her and hugged her tightly. I felt her hands slowly wrap around me and her sobbed quietly.

Athena

I sniffled and wiped my tears when I scanned my card to open my apartment door with Venus back at her apartment, next door.
"Athena?!" The metallic door slid up and I stepped in. The twins shot up from the couch while they watched television.
"Hey." I smiled softly when Grey teleported onto me and Flynn ran onto us.
I grunted and hugged them tightly.

Flynn and Grey Enderhem

-Flynn ~ yellow Paladin~ has powers other than teleportation and is galra.
-Grey ~ blue Paladin ~ all powers like Keith and galra.
