Song is When It's All Over by RAIGN.
This week has been a little rough. My boyfriend broke up with me, and I failed an assignment that I worked really hard on. But I've been okay other than that. So anyways, let's get on with this story!!
Sirius Black's POV
Things have been really tense around here. Beorn and I pretended to hate each other, just as planned. This pleased the orcs extremely. They continued to torture Beorn for many more days. We both had to be patient and wait for them to move Beorn to another location to be tortured by Sauron himself. This, Beorn had informed me, would probably happen very soon. I hoped it would. Our plan was counting on it. Finally, several days later, even more orcs than usual came over to us. They carried heavy-looking chains with them. Beorn began to get more irritated than normal. I knew then that they were here to take him to Sauron. I growled at the orcs, and yanked hard against my chains. The orcs sneered at me, but didn't do anything else. The orcs unlocked Beorn's cage, and went inside. It took them a little while, but they managed to chain Beorn up without losing too many limbs. I was on my feet and growling, ready to pounce. Thankfully, the orcs didn't pay me much mind, being too busy with Beorn. Once Beorn finally allowed them to drag him out of the cell, I sprung the trap. I barked loudly, and jumped on top of him. Beorn let out a roar, and tried to shake me off. He was actually being rather gentle, but it was hard to tell from a spectator standpoint. Before long, we were both extremely tangled up in the chains, and there was little hope of breaking us apart unless they unchained us. As neither of us could really move, it would be that much difficult for the orcs to drag us. Plus my chains were still attached to the wall. We were still snarling and growling, and even biting. I was as rough as I could be, because I knew that I could not really hurt my furry friend. He, however, had to be careful not to crush me. Finally, the orcs decided to carefully unchain us, as we seemed to be so focused on each other that they thought we wouldn't really notice. Unfortunately for them, we did indeed notice. As soon as we were sure that the chains were loose enough, we stopped attacking each other, and began trying to get out of the chains. Beorn managed to crush one orc between his jaws, and the others didn't seem to know what to do. They were all trapped, and there was no escape. Once the pair of us were finally free, we killed the orcs, and began our escape. I acted as the scout and assassin, and Beorn was the battering ram. We ran into several more orc squads, but they never stood a chance. Unfortunately, one of our squabbles drew Azog's attention, and we were now being hunted. We ran and ran and ran until we finally left the fortress. The orcs continued to chase after us, but we managed to lose them in the nearby forest. Even then, we did not stop running for many more hours. Only once we could run no more did we finally collapse onto the rough forest floor. We ended up falling asleep there, too tired to carry on. I don't know how long we did sleep, but it was daylight when I woke up. At least, as far as I could tell. The forest was very dark, even in the daylight. I wished now more than ever that I could turn back into my human form. I could only hope that we would not need magic to get out of here. I just lay there for awhile, waiting for Beorn to wake up, too tired to do anything else, and too awake to fall back asleep. After awhile, Beorn grunted as he stirred, finally waking up. He stretched and yawned, showing off his sharp teeth. Beorn proceeded to flop right back on the ground, making me snort in amusement. At that point he seemed to remember that I was there. He simply grunted a greeting, and then changed back into his human form. He wasn't wearing any clothes, but that was nothing new. He looked at me.
"We must find a way out of this forest," he stated gruffly. I nodded.
"I wish I could transform back into a human. Then I could use a Point-me spell," I said.
Beorn just grunted.
We eventually got ourselves together, and began walking in what was hopefully the same direction. We found a river, and followed that until we found a broken bridge, and we could faintly see a path on the other side.
Thankfully, there was a boat tied up on our side, so we were able to get across, although we almost capsized a few times due to Beorn's rather large weight. Once we made it safely to the other side, we tracked the path until we finally left the forest. I flopped down on the grass, glad to be rid of that dreadful place. Soon enough, we came to a homely little house on the outskirts of another, more welcoming forest. Beorn revealed that this was indeed his house. It looked a little overrun from lack of care, but that was soon remedied. I did my best to help, but I could only do so much in my dog form. Nonetheless it did not take long to get everything in order. Even better, Beorn's animals, who had wandered a ways after he was captured, returned and offered their services once again. So now we had food to last us for awhile. Which was a good thing, as winter was approaching, and Beorn and I had grown rather weak from lack of food during our capture. I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that he did not eat meat at all, so that meant no meat for me either. I was rather disappointed, but didn't dare complain. He had opened his home to me, and also helped us escape. I slept in a comfortable bed of hay every night with a full stomach and sore muscles, the result of hard work. As the years passed, we had noticed that my aging seemed to have stopped, as I should have died long ago, even as a human. I really enjoyed my life there, and as the years passed, the thought of returning to my world grew even more distant from my mind. I thought I would be content to stay there forever. Until one day, well over a hundred years after our escape, our peaceful life was interrupted by some rather unexpected and very unwelcome visitors...
So there you have it! I'll leave y'all to guess who the visitors are, although I'm sure that won't be hard! I hope y'all enjoy this chapter! I enjoyed writing it.
