AFTER THE GAME OLIVIA WAITED FOR HER RIDE. SHE SPOTTED A FAMILIAR CAR AND she hoped he wouldn't show up. Shane stops in front of her.
"Are you kidding me?" She asks glaring at him.
"Olivia get in." Shane says.
"No!" She exclaims and he gets out of the car. "I'm not getting in the car with you!" She says a little louder.
"Olivia come on! Your mom is waiting." Shane says trying to grab her arm.
She moves back "don't touch me!" The group of guys of the basketball team approach her.
"Liv, he's bothering you?" Jake asks with Lucas and Kyle by him.
"He was just leaving." Olivia glares at him.
"I'll see you at home." Shane says.
She searches for her book and is about to throw it at Shane's car, but Jake stops her, shaking his head at her. They stare at each other, and Olivia knows she still cares for him. "Do you need a ride?" Jake asks her softly.
"I'll call my uncle Derek." She says back softly, not wanting to startle him by how close they are. Lucas and Kyle felt as if they were intruding and gave the two some privacy.
"Come, on I'll drive you home." He says.
"I'm not going home," she says and Jake nods his head.
"Come on, I'll take you to the hospital." He says and she nods and they walk with each other.
"How are your parents?" She asks not trying to be awkward, and she was failing miserably.
"Good, how are yours? I mean besides the shooting." He says, "I heard about your dad, I'm sorry."
"It's fine. Your family sent a get well basket, thank you. The muffins were great." She smiles a little making him laugh.
"I wanted to eat those. But mom said, they were for your dad." He says.
"He was in a coma, for about three weeks, woke up today." She says. "So I ate them."
"I could tell, you wouldn't smile, you punched Nate and Tim." He says.
"Tim deserves it, he's an idiot!" She says laughing.
"What's going on with Kyle?" He asks knowing it's not his place, they only greet each other. They aren't even friends.
"I barley know the guy." She says. "What's going on with Kyle." She wiggles her eyebrows at him making him laugh.
"He's a friend." He says.
"My mom would babysit him and Lucas, to give Karen space. We weren't really friends, I think Brooke is crushing on Lucas." She says.
