LIV SULLIVAN BEGAN JUNIOR YEAR LIKE EVERY OTHER SCHOOL YEAR, WITH A GOOD breakfast, made so generously by her mom. She sat at the table next to her father eating his breakfast, her baby brother, Carl sat in front of her devouring his breakfast. Her twin brother, Junior sat next to her, also devouring his breakfast. Liv's eyes shifted from her father to her mother, waiting for an explosion to happen, it usually did. They had been fighting none stop before Carl, Junior, and Liv left to their grandparents farm, before going back to school. They went to New York to visit their grandma, in June, for two weeks.
Those two weeks in New York were marvelous, as her grandmother would say. She did take the three Sullivan children on a shopping spree, and while they initially didn't want to spend much money, their grandma insisted it was her right as a grandma to spoil her grand babies rotten. Liv was never one to turn done a free shopping spree, she adores to shop. So she accepted it and enjoyed the hell out of it.
"Something wrong, Liv?" Rick asks looking at the teenagers concerned.
"No." She shake her head before taking a bite of her pancakes. Rick takes a sip of his own coffee, his eyes never leaving her figure. He's trying to figure out if she's lying.
"You're being weird." Carl says with his mouth full, a few chunks of chewed pancakes come flying out and Liv looks at him in disgust as Rick tells him not to speak with his mouth open.
"He's right." Junior says and Liv turns to glare at her twin brother.
"You are gross." Liv looks at Carl unamused.
"But you love me." He says before shoving more pancakes into his mouth, Liv rolls her eyes and Rick laughs at his children interaction.
"Are you excited for Junior year?" Lori asks Liv and Junior.
"It just means I'm closer to leaving you four." She says and Carl rolls his eyes at her. "And independence and bills." She says sarcastically making Rick chuckle but he coughs covering it up when Lori shoots him a look.
"She's right." Junior says and Lori sighs.
"Eat your breakfast, your dads driving you three." Lori says looking at her daughter who nods, before taking a sip of her coffee. "You don't plan on going to the same college?" She asks her oldest children.
"Depends on how much money I'm getting from the scholarship, who offers a better a better deal." Junior says, Junior knew his parents didn't make the most money in the world. His dad is a deputy, his mother a realtor, but sending him and Liv to college, would be very expensive. Liv had been applying for scholarships, and entering contests for her writing since last year. Rick and Lori share a look, it doesn't go unnoticed by the twins.
"Yeah, but we have one school year left to think about it, right?" Liv says attempting to lighting the mood in the room. Carl even picked up on it.
"Yeah." Junior nods agreeing with his sister, he gave his parents a smile, trying to ease the mood.
