      THE PAST WEEK HAD BEEN CALM, OR WHAT LIV AND JUNIOR DUBBED, 'DISCREET', their mother didn't know what being discreet meant. If she was angry at their father, the entire house knew. Liv didn't blame her, she got pregnant young, got stuck with them. Today she was not feeling appreciated or loved again, and had the need to inform everyone.

"You don't love me, anymore. You don't love us, do you?" Lori's voice rings through the kitchen, stopping the entire Sullivan family in their tracks. The Sullivan children were very aware of their parents marriage problems, but this was pushing it far. Their mother asking that question in front of them was going a step too far. Liv and Junior share a look, having a conversation with their eyes. It was a freaky twin thing.

"Grab you things Carl, we're going to be late." Liv told Carl as she grabbed a waffle from the plate on the table. "Peyton is driving us today." She says looking at her parents angrily. Carl got his bag and the two waited outside, Junior was gathering his things waiting for Veronica to pick him up.

"Of course I love them! Of course I love you!" Rick says "In front of them?" He asks her, he had seen Liv's and Carl's expression. He walks away making his way to the front to find Carl laughing at something Liv said. Liv smiles and laughs lightly, he knows she made a joke to distract Carl from the comment their mother made.

Peyton pulls up, honking at the Sullivans. "What's up Sullivans!" Peyton says with a smile on her face.

"Peyton!" Carl smiles walking over to the car.

"Hey P.Swayer." Liv waves at her.

"Morning Peyton." Rick greet her with smile. He turns to walk closer to his daughter, "Olivia." He says using her first name. "I'm sorry." He says.

"You didn't say anything." She tells him giving him a small smile. "She was. I hate when she does that. Especially in front of Carl." She says.

"I know, I do too. Just, whatever's going on between mom and me, it's between us, not you three." He says and she stares at him, wanting to yell at him to remind his wife that. "I love you." He says before hugging her, and he kisses the top of her head.

"I know. I love you." She says back to him and he smiles.

"I know, now, get to school, have a nice day, Peyton is waiting." He says. He makes his way over to Carl and hugs him goodbye, wishes him a good day, and tells him he loves him.

She stares at her dad, having this overwhelming feeling, before she gets in the car, and she hugs him again, tightly, "be safe, okay?"

"I will." He says, and he doesn't let go until she's ready to let go. He watches her rush over to Peyton's car, and the trio leave. He sighs before going inside to face Lori,
he wasn't sure how much longer the fights could keep going on in front of their children. He enters hearing Junior and Lori arguing, and Rick clears his throat. Junior stares at his father before leaving the kitchen saying he would wait outside, "get there on time Junior." Rick tells him before exiting the home.

"I will! Be safe!" Junior says seeing the family picture frame at the entrance.

PEYTON COULD TELL SOMETHING HAPPENED AT HOME, LIV WAS IN ONE OF HER moods as her and Brooke's referred to it after Lori or Rick, usually Lori exploded in front of their family. Brooke and Peyton had even witnessed Lori and Ricks fights. "What did she say this time?" Peyton asks her cautiously.

"Something stupid." Liv says honestly and Peyton gives her a half smile. "She accused dad of not loving her, of him not loving us. She did it in front of Carl." She tells her angrily, and hurt. Peyton can't help but feel angry for her best friend, who did a lot to avoid her baby brother from seeing their parents argue. She herself knew how much it could after someone, and push them to isolate people from their lives.

"New year right? New shit?" Peyton asks her trying to move on from the subject, she knew how much her blonde counterpart hated speaking of her family issues.

"New year same shit." Liv says with a small smile and Peyton returns it.

    OLIVIA SULLIVAN OPENED HER LOCKER, IN THE HALLWAY, AND SHE SAW JAKE JAGIELSKI, the one person who got her to open up, besides her twin brother. He was opening his locker, morning his own business. Last time she had a proper conversation with him was when she was breaking up with him, after Christmas break of their freshmen year, and he quickly began dating an older girl named Nicki. Who hated Liv, and the two had PE together, and tried making Liv's life a living hell, until Liv punched her in the face, and attacked the brunette girl. Making her back off, after the beating Liv gave the older girl. Nathan and Junior had pull her away before she killed the brunette. Liv grabs her things for next period and closes her locker, making her way to her next class, where she sat next to Lucas Scott, a person she didn't really have an opinion on. Besides the fact that he's really quiet and doesn't make an effort to speak to her or annoy which she enjoys.

Lucas didn't mind sitting next to the blonde girl, she was quiet and minded her business and participated in the class. He does find her a bit intimidating, while Liv wasn't rude unless you were rude to her or someone she cares for, he can recall the times she's gotten into fights. The blonde girl was not scared to fight someone, he can remember their freshmen year, when she fought an older girl, and broke her nose, during PE. He had seen Nicki would make comments, and had been making comments for days, and Liv was trying to ignore it, until she turned around and told her she would punch her if she didn't leave her alone. Nicki kept at it and Liv punched her in the face, not holding back, Lucas swore his brother fell in love with Liv that day, and Liv kept fighting her, and clearly winning, forcing Junior and Nathan to pull her off before she killed the girl. He can remember hearing Junior saying their mom was going to kill her for another fight. Peyton and Nathan took her to get cleaned up, Nicki said she fell face forward, and kept the story.

"You have a pencil?" Tim asks her.

"Do you even have this class?" Liv asks him.

"No? But I need a pencil." He tells her.

"I want it back, if not I'll kick your shins till I get it back." She tells him and Lucas tries not to laugh.

"I will, love you Liv! I owe you!" Tim begins walking away.

"I mean it Smith!" She says after him, and the teacher begins calling the class attention after the bell rang.
