Hybrid's Mate-Norenmin

Chapter 21

"So you were in an alley?"

"Yes "

"And Jeno and Jaemin just took you home?"

"Mhmm"

"And now...you're both just living normally?" Chenle said.

Both Jungwoo and Renjun looked at each other

"Uhhh...you could say that." Jungwoo uttered which caused the other four boys to nod at the answer but Lucas, Jeno and Jaemin knew that answer was a lot more complex.

"Does anyone else know?" Mark asked

"No! N-no...and no one else must ever know-" Renjun uttered starting to get more and more scared until Jeno stepped in seeing how overwhelmed the boy was getting again.

"Please guys, Jungwoo Hyung and Renjun's situation is really fragile right now and we're all trying to figure out how to navigate this...and we don't know how outside people would act or what they'd do to the two if they ever knew...so please keep this to yourselves, don't treat them differently because just as different as this may be for us, it's ten times scarier for them." Jeno said as he felt Renjun's tiny hand hold his much larger one.

Jaemin caught a glimpse of this act and decided to add his hand to the two which caused Renjun to look up and smile at him softly; which in turn caused Jaemins heart to beat faster and once again his eyes as if in a split second morphed, which Renjun saw but rather decided to keep his cool and not comment.

He didn't even realise that Jungwoo and Lucas has seen it to, reminiscent of the earlier times when they first met and Lucas quickly started showing his own symptoms of being Jungwoos mate.

"Okay this makes sense...but that still doesn't account for you two, your eyes." Haechan said pointing at Jeno and Jaemin  who were still staring at their three intertwined hands but they quickly looked up.

"What do you mean?" Jeno said confused, he doesn't know what is meant by their eyes.

"Didn't you see-"

"I-it's nothing...it happens! Actually I'm getting a little overwhelmed again, could we change the subject?" Jungwoo quickly uttered not meaning to sound as frantic but too much was being revealed too fast.

He knew that he needed to sit with Renjun about this first before going any further on the topic of mates.

Jaemin however knew what chenle was referring to but rather decided to keep quiet, and he knew he'd find out soon enough.

Everyone else although sensing something was off; they knew it be better they just carry on as they were before.

"Okay but before we carry on...c-can I touch your ears?" Chenle chimed excitedly looking at both Jungwoo and Renjun.

The two hybrids then gave each other a surprised look at the sudden shift of energies and so they happily nodded.

Both Chenle and Haechan allowed their hands to graze over the hybrids ears as they gently allowed rubbed behind the ears, thus causing the two hybrids to elicit sweet purrs.

Renjun especially liking it, he was quiet the affectionate person although not allowing that to show so freely, as well as being cooped in that lab all his life really did suppress that inner affection loving side of him, but since being in the real world he truly has felt more comfortable in releasing that side of him.

The two hybrids continued to relish in the petting and attention they were receiving really enjoying it as Mark and Jisung joined in as well out of pure curiosity, however that same enjoyment was not coming from the other three who sat scowling.
