Chapter 9

"Good" he uttered with a smirk as he ended the call.

"Any news." The professor turned as he heard the sultry voice of a women.

"They found it." He turned as he picked up his drink smirking as he took a sip.

"Should I call  for the champagne?" She smiled as she walked up to him swaying her hips side to side.

"Not quiet yet... apparently he's found a companion of sorts, I'm waiting for more information." He said as he sat and she sat on his lap.

"Well why can't we just go find him already." She said

"Because him and his stupid little friend broke their trackers so we can not find them." He gritted

And soon they heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." The professor answered

Soon a boy entered, with his Serval ears poking out and his tail swaying.

"Awww my pretty boy." The professor said as he stood pushing the women that was sitting on his lap, she now landed to the floor with shock and hurt.

Always them over me.

"Master, any news... d-do I get to help?" He said smiling as the professor pulled him closer.

"Not quiet yet, but soon my pretty boy."

"B-but why not, can't I just-"

"Uh uh, not yet Hendery... you don't want to upset master now do you." The professor said with scary eyes that caused the hybrid to gulp loudly

"N-no, not at all master." Hendery said as he looked to the floor in fear.

"Oh sweetie, don't be all sad...I'll send you out for 119 soon, we just need to make sure you're ready... we can't have any screw ups remember." The professor said as he learnt in and kissed the boys cheek.

Hendery was the only hybrid that day who had remained in his cage when they had all escaped because of Renjun.

He hated Renjun with every ounce of his being, just because he happened to be "special" a stupid "experiment gone right " he got so much attention... especially from the professor and it made his blood boil.

He'd always been good, and obeyed and more...never ever did he disobey any orders given to him.

He was the only hybrid that had willingly given himself to the professor when his heat came...he just didn't possess the gift Renjun did and so the professor used him in moments of sexual frustration, but to Hendery he believed he was more to the professor

That his master somehow loved him, and so he stayed, and agreed that he'd go out and help them find Renjun.

He'd catch the boys scent and capture him, then bring him back and be a good boy.

Good for his master...yes, obey, do as you're told

Pleasure master whenever he says, be good...find 119

Then you can finally be the favorite, get everything you've ever wanted and more.

"Yes master...I'll wait, I'll always obey and wait for you." The hybrid smiled.

"I guess I'll be leaving then." The women who had now been forgotten on the floor said as he got up, grabbing her bag.

"So sulky are we now." The professor chuckled, he only received a click of the tongue and the women walked out not say more as she wiped her tears that fell

It's always them over me.
She thought as she held the necklace that sat around her neck.

"I promise my love, this will work...we're so close."

"But honey I don't know how I feel about this."

"Just trust me, when everything works with the hybrids we'll be rich, powerful...I'll be able to give you the world and more my love." He said as he held her face and leant in to give her a kiss

Slow passionate and full of love...where had it gone.

"Oh! I almost forgot." He said as he went into his bag and grabbed a box opening it to reveal a necklace with an emerald necklace in the middle.

"W-what is this, you shouldn't have!" She said as she looked at the jewel

He then got her to stand up and and turn as he placed the necklace on.

"I promise you my love, I will give you all the jewels in the world and so much more...I love you, and I want this to be a reminder that I love you and only you." He said as he turned her around and she had slight tears in your eyes.

"Aww my love don't cry, you're my everything...just give me time we're so close, and I just need a little longer to see how 119 does." He said as he wiped her tears.

"I- I'll give you time, I'm just scared."

"Of?"

"That they'll come before me, before us." She uttered

"That would never happen... you are mine and mine only, they'll never come before us or you." He said as he kissed her temple

It's scary how we never keep the promises we make... from then on he stayed in for hours within the lab, when he would finally arrive him at 3am he'd do nothing but babble about the hybrids, babble about subject 119.

He become distant, but she stayed... even when he began to sleep with the hybrids

She stayed... she was so warped into his lies she stayed

"It's all experiments...we're almost there."

"Leaving me now would only detriment everything we've worked for, you promised you'd give me time."

"It will always be them over me."

"I guess that just means it's us two my love." He said as he kissed Hendery's neck who only whimpered with a smile.

And so the night went on, what the hybrid assumed was love making to the professor was him doing to Hendery what he'd do when he got 119...that's the only one he'd ever care for, and everyone knew it.

But maybe Hendery wouldn't accept it.

"I love you." The hybrid whispered as the professor had gotten off of him and laid beside the boy breathing heavily.

One day he'll say it back.
