Chapter 18

"Oh what about these."

"We've already got the whole trolley full of junk food, I don't think there's a need for more." Jisung said as he grabbed the packet of gummy sweets from Chenle's hand who scowled

"Excuse you, we can never have enough junk, and anyways I'm the one paying so who cares." Chenle said as he went back and grabbed the sweets putting them in the trolley as they walked elsewhere in the big store.

"Oh Lucas what about these, oh and these...wait what are 'Jaw Breakers'?" Jungwoo said as he was literally embodying a child in a candy store.

"We can get whatever you want." Lucas said as he allowed his hand to sit on the boys lower back, to which Jungwoo smiled releasing his scent which caused Lucas eyes to morph again as they stood by all the sweets.

"I like being around you." Lucas said as he felt the scent go from his nostrils to his head, flooding his mind with everything about Jungwoo that he admired and enjoyed.

"I-I like being around you too." Jungwoo said as he looked at Lucas eyes the morphed once again as they looked at each.

"See look I keep telling you, the stronger the bond grows, the more the eyes morph...which also means the closer the two are to mating."

"Yeah yeah, don't care." Renjun said as he started to walk into the art hall.

"You are such a buzz kill!"

"And you're an annoying romantic!" Renjun mucked back

"Whatever." Jungwoo mumbled as the two walked in and started doing their art.

"Your eyes." Jungwoo said quietly as he looked at Lucas.

"Why are you so surprised? It's not like this is the first time." Lucas chuckled as he gently pulled the boy closer to him.

"I-I know it's just, I'm still so surprised...I mean I read about that stuff for years, and imagined all the moments and romantic encounters I'd experience if it were true, but I never expected to actually be here."

"What do you mean?" Lucas said as his eyes slowly went back to their dark brown orbs

"I never thought I'd get out, I never thought the  universe would bring me to you...I started to lose hope that it was real."  Jungwoo said as he allowed his hand to touch Lucas face and the younger grasped his hand smiling to which Jungwoo did the same.

"Well it is, and I'm here...I'm your mate, sounds weird to say but I'm definitely getting used to it." Lucas said as Jungwoos smile grew and kissed the boys cheek.

"So am I." Jungwoo uttered as they then left one another's embrace and went to add to the trolley.

"You do know you can pick whatever you like right." Jeno said as he saw Renjun looking at the freezer admiring all the ice cream flavors.

"There's just so many look, there's Strawberry, and Chocolate...how do they manage to make so many different flavours." Renjun said as he took out a tub that said chocolate chip and he examined the tub with a small pout and Jeno could do nothing but admire the boy, he didn't even realize that he was doing it.

He just seemed to be so mesmerized by the boy, from his soft face, dark brown hair and his eyes...those eyes that seemed to encompass so much of his identity without saying anything.

"Renjun no!" Jeno then got of his trance when he saw Jaemin running up to them with packets of chips and Jeno looked confused until he looked forward to see Renjun who had opened the ice cream tub, and was eating the ice cream...with his hands.
