Chapter 3

"Buddy can you look at us for a second." Jeno asked as Renjun looked elsewhere

"Please."

"Why are you talking to me like that." Renjun said confused

"H-huh?" Jeno said losing his focus when Renjun looked straight into his eyes.

"I'm not a baby, you know that right... you can talk to me normally." Renjun giggled and Jeno couldn't help but smile at the boys cute giggle.

"Okay I'm back with some clothes for you Renjun, you can put these on... I don't know how well they'll fit."

Renjun then grabbed the clothes looking at them confused, then looking back at the two boys.

"You don't know how to dress yourself do you?" Jaemin asked sighing when Renjun nodded his head smiling

"J-Jeno, your job." Jaemin said as he turned around to the door as Jeno hesitantly went up to the boy who looked at him with a soft smile.

"Don't worry, I don't bite...just scratch." He jokes to which Jeno got more relaxed.

And so Jeno unwrapped the boy from his duvet, analyzing his body without meaning to... he had fluffy, silk dark brown hair.

Jeno then proceeded to put the large hoodie over his lean, toned body that had a very golden shade to it, and started to put the basket ball shorts on his legs, making sure to look away with his heart going quiet fast and his cheeks going red from how shy he got.

"Done." Jeno said as he looked at the boy who kept eye contact with his emerald eyes staring into Jeno's dark brown eyes... he didn't realize how enchanted he'd get just looking into the boys eyes.

"Okay now for you to explain." Jaemin said breaking Jeno out of the trance.

"Okay what would you like to know." Renjun asked.

"Everything." They said in unison.

Renjun then turned his arm pulling the large hoodie up and looking to see the numbers 119

"Uh-I don't remember anything, a-all I know was I ran away, and ended up in the ally way, then you two found me, and now I'm here." Renjun said continuing to look at his arm until he quickly covered it, but Jeno was still able to see.

"Then what's that number from?" Jeno said grabbing his arm until Renjun snatched it back.

"N-nothing, I don't remember." Renjun said covering his arm again.

Jeno and Jaemin could both tell the boy knew a lot more than what he was letting on, but they didn't want to overwhelm him so they left it alone.

"And so would you mind if we asked...what-"

"I'm a hybrid." He said looking to the floor.

"A what?" Jaemin said confused

"A hybrid, to put it simply a human cross animal, and as you can see my animal is a cat, I'm able to transform from my human form to cat form." Renjun said as he thought back to the past then quickly broke himself back to reality.

"You came home earlier than I expected and well, now you've seen me." He said

Both Jeno and Jaemin looked at each other, then Jaemin grabbed Jeno and turned.

"Jeno."

"Jaemin no, he's staying."

"But Jeno, he's a fricking human cat."

"A hybrid, and you can see he has no where else to go, and if he does he obviously doesn't want to be there considering he ran away and seems overwhelmed when we want to know more." Jeno said look at his friend.
