Chapter 23

"Are you sure you're okay with taking Renjun to your place for the night." Jaemin said as he started putting away the breakfast supplies, whilst the others sat in the lounge.

"For the thousandth time Jaemin, yes I am." Jeno signed out after he had been having Jaemin ask him the same question.

"W-well I just wanna make sure you're comfortable and won't be weird around him beca-"

"Because of everything we're now aware of, yeah yeah...Nana stop, regardless of what we've been told and whether it's true or not I care about Renjun and I'm not going to now shun him for something that's out of all of our hands."

"I know it's just this is a lot and -"

"You know if I didn't know any better I'd say you're jealous I'm going to have him all to myself." Jeno uttered as he smirked at Jaemin who's face went red.

"W-what?" Jaemin said in a surprised manner

Jeno then started walking closer and closer to Jaemin with a smirk on his face, this caused the younger to walk away slowly until his back came into contact with the wall and Jeno moved his face closer to Jaemins.

This caused Jaemin's system to send alarm bells to every single part of his body, his face was red, palms sweaty...he didn't need to feel like this so early in the day.

"I said...I think you're jealous." Jeno said right in front of Jaemins face, he didn't know how this had happened or why on earth his crush was literally an inch away from his face, he could feel Jeno's breath on his lips.

"Well...are you?" Jeno said as he whispered in the boys ear enjoying his response

"Renjun stop!" They heard a loud voice say which caused the two to immediately stop and look at each other with horror filled eyes.

They then quickly ran up as they kept hearing shouting and it seemed like it had come from the bathroom due to how the door was wide open.

They entered to see Chenle and Haechan trying to get Renjun to touch the water that was pouring from the shower.

"Stop it come on just get it, humans shower" Haechan said as they kept trying to get the fully clothed boy to stop holding onto the shower door and just get in to feel the water.

"No stop I'm serious I don't want to!" Renjun shrieked as he kept using his strength which was a lot more than theirs to stay out of the shower.

As soon as the two others walked in and saw the scene before them they couldn't help but want to burst into laughter, that was until Renjun turned to them and shrieked for help.

"You two fools don't just stand there they're trying to kill by drowning me in this weird contraption you call a shower!" Renjun said as he still kept trying to overpower the two

"Uhhh so we tried to give Renjun a lesson on how to shower and let's just say he's not taking it well at all." Chenle explained quickly.

"Don't be such a baby just put you hand in it." Haechan said

"Ha nice try, you'll push my whole body in then I'll drown...I'm not doing that." Renjun said through gritted teeth.

"Okay guys stop now." Jeno said as he could tell Renjun was getting more uncomfortable, and it was almost like something sparked in him to pry Renjun away and make sure he is okay.

"Look, mates begin to share emotions...specifically when their mate is under threat."

"Didn't I tell you to put that back, they'll realize it's missing Jungwoo." Renjun said as they sat in their lunch area and Jungwoo kept reading the document.
