Chapter 3; Let the Training Commence

"Scarlett get up! We have to hurry to the showers before everyone else wakes up." Someone muttered as they shook me.

"Just five more minutes." I muttered sleepily. The person jumped on me causing me to squeal and fully wake up. "Mikasa!" I slapped her arm softly. "You nearly gave me a heart attack." I yelled quietly since Annie and Sasha were still sleeping. Mikasa smiled innocently as she got off me. "Should we wake those two up?" She shrugged. I rolled my eyes and got out of bed. I strutted over to Sasha's bed and gently shook her. "Wakey wakey Sasha." She stirred slightly but remained asleep while Mikasa woke Annie with barely muttering her name. Soon we were all standing over Sasha trying to wake her up.

"We should just leave her." Annie said with a bored expression. I bit my bottom lip as I tried to come up with something. I knew we had to hurry since more people would start to wake up soon. So I did the only thing that I knew would work, since it worked on me. I positioned myself to jump from the edge of her bed and pounced. Sasha bolted up quickly, knocking her forehead into mine.

"Ow!" We both yelled as we held our heads.

"Sasha!" I whined.

"Don't Sasha me! You jumped on me." She pouted.

"Yeah well you wouldn't wake up, and we need to go take our showers before more people wake up." I mumbled. Mikasa rolled her eyes and grabbed my wrist, pulling me off Sasha. While Annie grabbed Sasha's arm and pretty much dragged her out of the bed as we left the cabin. We reached the showers and were surprised to see it completely empty. "Sweet!" I said as I quickly chose a cubical and stripped down. We got all the hot water. We heard the groans from other girls as they walked in to find others already here. I threw a towel over my body as I finished my hot shower. Girls glared at me but I simple shrugged it off and continued walking back to our cabin alone since I was the only one who finished. I noticed more and more sleepy cadets creeping out of their cabins.

"S-scarlett." Someone gasped from behind me. I turned around to see a fully red Eren and the boy from last night who's name I finally remembered was Jean. I looked down and realized I was only in a towel since my uniform was back at the cabin. I'm surprised they were even walking together. I thought they made it clear last night they didn't like each other.

"Hey boys." I said calmly, trying to hide my embarrassment. Both their jaws were dropped. I rolled my eyes and waved one hand infront of them to snap them out of their trance. "Hello? Is Eren and Jean there?" I chuckled as they snapped back to reality.

"S-sorry!! We should uh, go to the showers. S-see ya later!!" Eren nearly yelled as he ran off.

"Y-yeah, what he said." Jean said quickly before following after him. I rolled my eyes and continued back to the cabin. Once I got there I quickly put my bra and underwear on before my clean uniform. I used the towel to completely dry my hair. After a few minutes the rest of the girls poured into the room.

"I saw Eren and Jean practically running to get to the showers. I wouldn't have guessed they'd be so eager to shower." Mikasa said as she rummaged through her clothes for her uniform.

"They were more eager to get away from me." I laughed as Mikasa got dressed.

"What do you mean?" She questioned.

"I bumped into them on my way back, poor kids were...embarrassed to say the least, when they saw me. They looked like tomatoes." I chuckled. Sasha's stomach growled at the mention of tomatoes. We all looked at her, including Annie. Before we busted out laughing, excluding Annie. Sasha just groaned and slipped on her boots.
