Chapter 9;  The Plan

I had both my blades drawn as I stood in front of Armin and Eren, next to Mikasa. I glared at the commander and all the cadets with their rifles and blades pointed at us. How'd it come to this you ask? Well let's see... We arrived back with Eren, but word had already spread about Eren and his Titan body thing, so here we are. Ready to defend him with our lives as the commander calls us traitors.

"I'm going to kill them all..." Eren spoke, finally waking up. My eyes widened as I looked behind my shoulder. He was barely conscious, but he had a slight grin on his face.

"Eren!!" Me and Mikasa said in relief.

"D-did you hear that?!?!! He said 'I'm going to kill them all'." One of the soldiers yelled.

"We should kill him now!!!" Another shouted.

"Yeah I heard, he's gonna devour us!!" These guys have got to be shitting me... Eren's expression quickly changed. His face scrunched up in confusion. I tightened my grip around the hilt of my blades as beads of sweat formed on my forehead.

"SILENCE." Captain Kitts shook slightly. He was frightened...it was so easy to see that. Everyone was. They were all scared of Eren... "Trainee Yeager! Along with Arlert, Ackerman and Hawke." He started. "What you're doing now is considered an act of treason!" How?? "We may decide to kill you on sight!" Wait what?? The beads of sweat slowly started to trickle down my forehead as I stared intently at the man. "If you attempt to lie, or make a single move we will fire an HE Projectile on you immediately! We will not hesitate!" He yelled. My palms started feeling sweaty, I began to get light headed. Of all the... Fuck this can't really be happening... "Answer me right now!! What are you?! Titan!? Or are you a human?!" He questioned. I turned my head back slightly to look at Eren, he looked completely dumbfounded. There's no easy way out of this..no matter what his answer is, we're sure to be killed. Eren's eyes scanned the Garrison shoulders before his gaze landed on the Captain.

"I-I don't understand the question!" He replies. Damn it Eren! Don't you remember what happened?!?

"Monster! Try that again and I'll blow you to pieces. It takes just an instant! You won't have time to reveal your true form!" He yelled.

"True form?" Eren asks as he tilted his head slightly. I furrowed my brows and stared intently at Eren. He really doesn't remember..

"Plenty of people saw you as you emerged from within a Titan!" His eyes widened slightly. He looked to us for guidance, but we had none to give. I turned my head back to Captain Kitts. Beads of sweat had formed all over his forehead. "Humanity has permitted an unknown creature like you to infiltrate Wall Rose! Even if you are trainees given to us by the king, the safest course of action is to eliminate the risk immediately! My thinking is correct, the armored titan that destroyed Wall Maria could appear any minute!" I glared intensively at the coward before me. "R-right now humanity is at risk of annihilation! Do you understand? We can't waste any more time or troops on you! I will fire an HE Projectile on you without hesitation." He pointed furiously at Eren. A girl with neck-length dirty blonde hair fixes her glasses and turns to the Captain.

"It's true that they aren't being very cooperative." Who the fuck would when you're threatening to kill them?? "We aren't likely to get any information out of them. You're right, This is just a waste of time and troops sir." That bitch. I growled slightly as I glared at her.

"Captain this is our chance!!" A Garrison soldier shouts. "If we dismember him while he pretends to be human-" Mikasa stepped forward.

"Our speciality, is cutting through flesh." She started. "If necessary I am willing to demonstrate at anytime. If anyone would like to experience first hand, I invite them to approach first." She said darkly. I stepped forward, up to where she is.
