The drive was awkward, it was mostly Haru trying to make conversation about random things while Katara gave one worded answers due to the awkward atmosphere.

Finally pulling up to the restaurant Haru opened the car door for her and put out his hand for her to hold. When she grabbed it almost slipped out. When she grabbed it again she realized it was wet.  She thought to herself "Is that sweat???" So with a disgusted look that he didn't notice she took her hand out of his and wiped her hands on her dress. They finally made it into the restaurant where Haru pulled out a chair for her. They both sat down while Haru tried to make conversation and Katara didn't want to be rude so she talked but inside she was bored out her mind. What she didn't notice was her brother and best friend walk into the restaurant. Sokka had a fake beard and an accent saying something about being Wang Fire. But no one could have predicted what was to happen next.

Aang was having one of his best days in recent memory. After talking to Toph, Zuko and Mai, he went home to a surprised Gyatso who didn't expect to see him till later. Iroh called Gyatso to tell him he would help treat Aang's wounds since he runs a small healing center for his close friends in the back of his restaurant. After talking to Gyatso and cleaning himself up he headed back to the Jasmine Dragon to hang out with his new friends.

"So Aang you're an air bender huh?" Toph said with a smirk.

"Yep that's me" he responded with a large smile.

Toph had a devilish smile "Are you bald I wanna smack your head."

No, not all air benders are bald that's an old tradition that's not mandatory anymore." When Aang finished he noticed Toph eyes wide. "Um Toph it's not that surprising"

"Um no, it's nothing" she was still shocked but she also looked scared.

Aang started growing worry "Are you ok Toph, you don't look to good"

She shook her head and put on a fake smile "Yep I'm great."

"I don't need earth bending to know you're lying".

She was hesitant but eventually she gave in. "Ok I felt someone's foot steps that I know but I don't want to be around him."

"What happened" he said concerned.

"It was my freshman year and his sophomore year. I met him during lunch when we fought over the last piece of pepperoni pizza. From there we became friends, he was the only one that saw me past my disability. I had a pretty big crush on him. When he joined sports and combat he kind of grew distance but I shook it off thinking it was because he was busy. One day I went up to him and his sports friends were around. When I went to talk to him he told me that I'm a blind helpless child. Then all his friend started laughing in my face. That was the only day that anyone's words hurt me"
