Chapter Fifteen

I DONT OWN ANYTHING

Ok Aang can you please make me some bacon, sausage links, ham and a side of eggs pleases"
Katara smacked her brother on the head "Ow what the hell Katara"

Katara shot her brother a glare "You don't just order someone around, you'll be lucky if he gave you a granola bar"

Aang couldn't help but chuckle at the siblings antics "Well lucky for you Sokka I can cook"

Sokka now had a large smile on his face but it left as quickly as it came "But I don't eat meat so I don't have any"

A light bulb went off in Sokka's head "Aang I'm going to go to the store and get some bacon then Katara can cook"

Katara was about to protest but he ran out the house slamming the door behind him.

Aang shook his head "He's one of a kind"

Katara turned back at him "Yea he's special alright, sorry for how he's acting"

Aang looked at her and smiled "Don't worry about it I know he means good even if it doesn't come out that way" Aang thought for a moment before speaking "I'm glad he's changed"

Katara looked at him with a raise eyebrow "My brother hasn't even acted differently, I don't understand"

Aang mentally slapped his forehead not wanting to rat his friend out.

"How was he different?" Katara said,

Aang sighed "Well he use to hang out with Jet."

Katara scoffed "Don't remind me"

Aang looked at her "Jet used to pick on me"

Katara was confused "Really I didn't even notice you" the second those words came out her mouth she instantly regretted them.

"Oh no no no I didn't mean like that it came out wrong" she thought to herself as a flash of hurt came across Aang's face.

Aang shrugged his shoulders "Yea he would always pick me out but I just decided to let it go."

"So I was surprised when Jet and his crew started acting nice to me, I was stupid enough to fall for it."

Katara eyes widen and Aang continued "I met him at some place to hangout and they took me to the back where they jumped me. Sokka was the one who gave me the final blow that left me knocked out"

At this Katara was furious, she was going to teach her brother a lesson. Aang saw steam practically coming out of her.

"I'm going to kill my brother what the hell is wrong with him" she said standing up.

Aang stood up too "No don't, I forgave him I know he didn't mean to"

Katara shot an angry glare at Aang "How didn't he mean to, he kicked you someone doesn't do that by accident"

Aang shocked his head "Jet and them peer-pressured him, it's not his fault"

"I don't care if they did, he should've stood his ground and helped you" Katara answered back.

All of a sudden she felt a hand on her shoulder and realized it was Aang's. A blush rose to her cheeks but was hidden by her tan skin.

"Katara relax, it's ok, I forgave him" this put Katara a little at ease.

She looked up at him "How?"

Aang was confused "What do you mean how?"

"How did you forgive him for what he's done?"

Aang sat back down "Because I know a good person when I see one"

Silence took up the home until Aang spoke up "So when do you want to start tutoring?"

Big Mistake

Katara's left eye twitched "Like I said I don't need your help" she said coldly.

Aang was shocked by her reaction and said timidly "Ok"

Katara realized this and sighed looking down "Sorry I've never had be tutored before"

"Well it's a first time for everything" Aang joked trying to light up the mood.

"Yea I guess" she said not convinced.

"Is that why you hate me?" Aang said quickly.

"What I don't hate you where would you get that idea?" She said shocked.

"Welllll" Aang said thinking about all the times Katara wasn't so nice to him.

He didn't get to finish his sentence because the door slammed opened revealing Sokka with bags of food in his hand.

"THE MEAT IS HERE" he announced much to his sisters annoyance.

All of a sudden another figure came in and Sokka introduced him "Oh and I saw Haru so I thought you would like to see your boyfriend, he tagged along."

Aang eyes saddened realizing he really didn't have a chance. Katara on the other hand was furious by Sokka calling Huru her boyfriend. She didn't know why but she wanted Aang to know they're not together. She decided it was because she didn't like lies being told around about her.

But before she could correct Sokka, Aang spoke up "Well welcome to my home Huru" he shook Huru's hand "It's nice to meet you"

Huru shook his hand and walked up giving Katara a kiss on the cheek which made he freeze, she wanted to slap him for that.

Aang saw this and sighed and led them to the kitchen.
