Chapter Twelve

Don't Own These People

Aang woke up the next day excited to be able to hang out with someone his age. He woke up and went to workout, he started with a quick meditation session. After that he went to jog three miles before working with weights to get his strength up. After that he freshened up and texted Sokka.

Aang waited and waited and waited. Sokka didn't respond until 4 hours later. It was already 2:00 PM.

Text Messages

Aang- Yo?

Sokka- What's up man I just woke up

Aang- It's already 2:00

Sokka- Ik I woke up early today

Aang- Huh EARLY?!?!!

Sokka-Yea early anyways you want to hang out there's this good food place then we can head to the mall to play laser tag"

Aang-Yes I'll be there in an hour

An hour passed and Aang hopped on Appa to head to the mall. Apparently the restaurant Sokka wanted to go to was in the mall. So with a "yip yip" Aang made his way over there.

Sokka on the other hand was having a hard time leaving the house. "KATARA YOUR BEING A PAIN IN MY ASS"

Katara's eye twitched "SHUT THE HELL UP YOURE NOT GOING ANYWHERE TILL YOU CLEAN YOUR ROOM"

Sokka stuck his tongue out childishly "YOURE NOT THE BOSS OF ME"

Katara walked up to him and got in his face "THEN WHY DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU"

Sokka looked at her "I DONT KNOW THATS YOUR DECISION"

Katara screamed in irritation and started rambling to herself about how he's the worse brother. While she was doing that Sokka made his way out the house without her paying attention.

The front door closing snapped Katara back into reality and she ran to the door and opened it. She saw Sokka pulling of the driveway.

SOKKA!!!!

She huffed and went inside. She got her phone and called Yue. After a few rings she picked up "Hey Kat what's up?"

Katara sighed "Nothing do you want to go shopping I need to blow off some steam?"

Katara could hear Yue smiling "YES let me call Suki we can all go."

They said there goodbyes and Katara started getting ready to go.

Sokka finally made it to the mall and met up with Aang.

"Ok Sokka what do they serve at this restaurant?"

Sokka beamed a smile "Just the most delicious food in the world"

They finally made it to the spot and what Aang saw made him sick.

The name was "THE MEAT FREAKZ"

There were images of headless chickens and a butchers knife.

"Um Sokka what is this?" Aang asked.

"Well Buddy the most delicious, most juiciest, most meatest meat of all time is made here."

Aang looked at him in confusion "I'm a vegetarian"

Sokka tried to reassure him "Don't worry they have options for you too like there special chicken"

"Sokka, chicken is meat"

Sokka gasped "Lies, Chicken is Chicken"

Aang shook his head "I'm going to get some salad from the food court"

Sokka shrugged "Suit yourself"

Aang walked away making his way to the food court. He got his food and found a seat. Something caught his attention and he saw Jet and his crew.

Aang tried to stay hidden but the eventually spotted him.

They walked up to him "Whats up airhead?"

Aang looked at him and shrugged "Nothing much eating"

Aang's demeanor made Jet mad "Is that so let me see this" he swiped at his salad and spilled it "You going to pick that up airhead?" Jets friends snickered.

"Why'd you do that?" Aang raised in eyebrow. He got up from his seat and picked up the mess they made.

Jet tried to kick him but Aang saw it and grabbed his leg "What The Fuck"

Aang threw his foot back and this made Jet even more angry. Jet got up from his seat and his whole gang followed.

Sokka finally made his way over and saw Aang.
What he didn't expect was to see Jet gang surrounding the air bender.

Jet looked at Sokka "What are you doing here?"

Sokka looked at Aang "I'm here hanging out with Aang"

Jet looked at him and laughed "No for real what are you going here?"

"Like I said hanging out with Aang"

Jet glared at him "So if you're hanging out with him then you'll get the same treatment."

Sokka looked at Aang and said "Run"

So they took off not looking back, they tried to get rid of them but they stay on there trail. They ignored the screams of the people in mall and Sokka grabbed Aang's hand pulling him into Victoria Secret.

Sokka was out of breath when someone called his name. He looked back and saw Suki.

"Hey Suki" he waved nervously.

"What are you doing here?"

"Ummm I ammmmm looking for bras? Yea looking for bras hehe" Sokka pulled Aang in front of him "Hey look Suki it's Aang. Aang's that's Suki."

Aang waved and Suki retuned the gesture. "Suki?"

Both the boys looked at each other and thought "Oh Shit"

Katara showed up and saw Aang "What are you doing here?"

Aang pushed Sokka in front "SOKKA!" Katara yelled.

"Shhh" Sokka whispered.

"What Mphhhhhmphhh" Sokka placed his hand over her mouth.

All of a sudden Jets crew walked in and spotted them. Sokka let go of Katara and glared at Jet. But before they could say anything Aang spoke up. "I'll go with y'all but leave them alone" Jet nodded in agreement and Aang followed him out.

Katara was worried for some reason "Sokka we have to help him, he's gonna get hurt if we don't do something"

Yue came running up to them "So what happened"

Yue was super confused when Sokka and Katara left with Suki without a word
