The next 2 weeks were just regular like always: going to school, coming home doing homework, calling with paddy and then eating and scrolling through insta until you go to bed.
It was finally Christmas break and you sleep till 11 am until you get a call that wakes you up.
It's paddy
You pick up and say with a sleepy voice: hello?
Paddy: hi! Sorry did I wake you up?
You: yeah but it's okay it's 11 so I would need to come up anyway so it doesn't matter
Paddy: oh phew I thought I would get in trouble
You laugh at his sarcasm
Paddy: right what I wanted to ask was what are you doing with Christmas?
You: uhmm well we don't celebrate it in the Netherlands but we are going to London to my family, why?
Paddy: I wanted to ask if you wanted to come the day after Christmas to ours yk just to hang out
You: well I don't want to bother bc Christmas is for family and I'm not really family
Paddy cut you off: no no that's nothing you already feel like family and that thing between my mom and you when you first met it's like you really are family how you and Sam get along so well it's definitely gonna be amazing
You: wow okay then I'll come but now I need to pack because we are leaving tomorrow so I need to go! Bye!
Paddy: okay bye! I'm so happy you're coming now!
He says with the biggest smile
You laugh at him and then hang up
You take a shower and get dressed
After you packed your suitcase you got downstairs and ate something
You got back upstairs and texted paddy because why not?
You: hi🙃
Paddy: hi🙃
You: I'm done packing can't wait to come to London tomorrow!😁😁😁
Paddy: me tooooooo😁😁😁😁
You: so what do you wanna do when I'm there?
Paddy: I thought just a game day yk know with the whole fam you can bring yours to ofc
You: yeah thats a great idea I'll ask my parents and my brother if they wanna come so they can meet too!
Paddy:yay! I hope they'll come because I would love to really meet them!
You: yeah me too especially my brother he's almost your age so that would be so much fun!
Paddy: yes! I can't wait! 😁😁
You: same!
You: but I need to go now my mom calls me down
You:bye!
Paddy: bye!
You put your phone into your pocket and go downstairs
You: hi what's up?
Mom: I hope you packed your suitcase already because we are going tonight to surprise your grandma!
