Time skip Y/n's pov

It's been two months. My birthday is tomorrow so Ella and I are baking a cake today. Paddy and I kept talking since I left and he knows it's my birthday tomorrow. Ella is also sleeping over since tomorrow is Saturday. One of the good things of living in the Netherlands is that breaks are more spread over the year, and we always have one right after my birthday. Yes I know it's amazing. But whatever back to us baking a cake.

When school was over I got to the supermarket and got all the ingredients. Ella lives half an hour away so she'll come right after school too. Ella and I have been friends since we were very little. We met in France on a camping and became friends right away. You know how easy that goes when you're only four. When I came home I saw Ella's parents car on the driveway already. I walked in my house and immediately hugged Ella.

you: Aggh I've missed you so much!!!

Ella: I missed you too girl!

You and Ella spoke English most of the time but it just happened actually. Sometimes you would speak Dutch and sometimes you would speak English.

You: Ik heb alle spullen gekocht dus we kunnen meteen beginnen! (I've bought all the stuff we need so we can start right away!)

Ella: okay well let's start then shall we?

I nod and walk to the kitchen. We start baking the cake and when it's in the oven I post a picture on my instastory. I caption it with: Baking cake for special day tomorrow! We just catch up because we haven't seen each other since New Years and we always find something to talk about. I hear the door ring so I say: "I'll get it!" I go to the front door and open it. To my shock I see the Holland's all standing there even Tom! I run to Paddy and hug him instantly.

You: How- what- I- h-how did you get here? I stuttered

Paddy laughs: With a plane and then a train?

I hit him playfully.

Nikki: Paddy told us it was your birthday tomorrow so we thought why not go visit!

you: aww thanks you didn't have to you guys probably have better things to do

Tom: yes we do

Nikki hit him. Nikki: you can't say such things Tom! Especially when it's not true!

You: it's okay don't worry. I don't get why you don't like me but it doesn't matter you can't like everyone ofcourse
I say unbotherd. There's an uncomfortable silence so I speak again

You: well come in it's freeing out here. I say awkwardly.

You: Oh by the way my friend Ella and her mom are here too.

Harry: amazing more people more joy!

Tom: yeah. amazing..

We walk into the livingroom and Nikki hugs my mom.

Ella: Hi I'm Ella!

She reaches her hand out for the boys to shake it. They all just hug her and introduce themselves. Except ofcourse Tom he just stands there frowning. Ella just shakes it off just like I do.

Harry: let's play a game!

Tom sighs.

Paddy: yeah let's play monopoly ( I'm sorry I don't rlly know english games lol)

Sam: yess so y/n cant win good idea pads

They high fived. I just playfully roll my eyes.

Ella: what do you mean she always wins she is like a monopoly queen!

I smile and the boys all burst out in laughter.

you: hey you guys have only played it ones with me I just had a bad luck back there.

I simply say.

Paddy: yeah right well we'll see about that girl!

I gasp sarcastic and grab the game.

Sam: are you gonna join us Tom?

Tom: no

Harry: come on mate it's just a game Lewis is joining too.

you: he doesn't have to if he doesn't want to.

Paddy: whatever he isn't fun anyways

Ella: I'm sorry but I feel like I know you

Harry: he's spiderman

Ella: ohhhh that's why I knew you yeah y/n always wants to watch a marvel movie when we have movie night

You: El!

I hit her arm.

Ella: what? It's true! And you always go like "ooh the marvel cast is so hot I can't believe how are they even real?!"

I look down embarrassed. Paddy stays silence while Sam, Harry and Lewis are laughing their asses off. I hear Tom storm out of the room.

You: great now he hates me even more

Ella: why would he hate you?

Harry: he thinks y/n is friends with pads for the fame

Sam: and ofcourse when he knows that y/n is literally DROOLING over the marvel cast he'll only think it more

Ella: oh shit I'm sorry y/n I didn't mean to

You: it's okay

I smile at Paddy and he returns it. I keep looking at him. We have this intense eye contact. It seems to last forever until ofcourse Ella interrupts.

Ella: hello? love birds? are we still gonna play this game or what?

Lewis: exactly! come on you two need to just get together already!

Harry: agreed

Paddy: shut up

Ella: I was talking about monopoly but sure they do look good together and y/n has been very quiet

You: okay well I'm going to the bathroom later nerds!

I ran to the bathroom and bump into Tom. Ofcourse.

Tom: watch out will ya!

you: sorry

I walk into the bathroom and lock it up. Ugh why can't I keep that thought of Paddy out off my head!
