Part 13

The next day

Paddy's pov
I couldn't really sleep last night.
Mostly because I thought y/n is mad at me even if she said it was okay. It's just that she didn't text me after and that was what worried me the most. I also couldn't sleep because I was so excited for today. I can't believe she's coming over again. I don't know what it is but she is so different from all my friends. It's like everytime I see her I immediately feel happy and when she laughs it just lights me up inside. I don't know what it is but she-I don't know I think she'll be my best friend forever. Maybe even more than friends..... No! No! Paddy you can't think that she's your best friend! Ughhh

I got up and took a shower, got dressed and went downstairs

Everyone was already eating breakfast

Paddy: good morning people

Everyone: good morning

I sat down at the table

Paddy: oh by the way y/n and her parents are coming over today yk so you guys can meet them too and maybe be friends they seem very nice so

Sam: oh great!

Harry: I would love to meet her and her family ofcourse

Mom: oh great I hope her parents are like her because then they are definitely family already!

Dad: yeah I would love to meet them too!

I noticed Tom wasn't as happy as the others;he didn't say anything. He just frowned looking at his food but I just shrug it off he's probably just stressed because of his work

A little after noon we heard the bell ring

Paddy: I'll get it!

I open the door to see y/n smiling with her parents behind her smiling too

Paddy: hi come in!

I hug y/n and shake her dad's hand
I wanted to shake her mothers hand too but she immediately pulled me into a hug which I gladly returned

My mom came to the door to see who it was and when she saw y/n's mom she widened her eyes

Mom: y/m/n!

Y/n's mom: Nikki!

They ran to eachother and hugged
Everyone came to the hallway and looked at them confused

Y/n: you guys know eachother?

They nod

Y/n's mom: yes we grew up together and we were best friends from a young age

Mom: yeah we were neighbors and I think we are friends since we were only 3?

Y/n's mom: yes I think so but since I moved we never really saw each other again we only texted

Mom: yeah but whenever you were in London we would hang out only last time you got here we didn't but this totally explains why I felt like I already knew you y/n

Y/n: wow
Was all she could say
I was as surprised as her. Everyone was

Y/n's pov

I was shocked.
Not bad shocked tho its amazing that they are friends and we are friends too.

I broke the silence
Y/n: welllllll now it's even easier to become friends right?
I say with a smile.

Everybody agrees and just goes back to what they were doing after saying hi to everyone

My parents were talking to Nikki and dom

I was in paddy's room. We were watching a movie and then got back downstairs

We saw that our parents were still talking

The weird thing is that I haven't seen Tom yet I mean I don't really need to but I at least thought he would say hi or something but I didn't mind tho.
I didn't really need to see him. I mean he has been my celebrity crush this past year but now I'm friends with paddy so he's not anymore. I still think he's a great actor because he is but I'm not fangirling over him anymore. I've got paddy and he's amazing he's a really good friend even if we only know each other for almost 6 months. We are really good friends. Sometimes I got this feeling off wanting to be more than friends...... No! What am i saying! No! Can't think that! He is my best friend!
Ugh I hate feelings!

I got snapped out off thoughts when Sam asked us to stay over for dinner and my parents asked me if that was okay

Ofcourse I said yes

So Sam started cooking and paddy and I played some games

We were playing monopoly when Sam said that dinner was ready

We all got to the table and started talking

Paddy: I was definitely winning that game y/n!

You scoff: you wish!

Tom didn't say anything the whole time
Everybody noticed. So I asked paddy

You: hey pads what's wrong with him?

I ask pointing at Tom

Paddy:I don't know he's been acting strange the whole day since I said that you were coming over

He whispered back

You: weird....well he's probably just in a bad mood

Paddy: yeah probably

We continued eating and then paddy and I finished our game

Ofcourse I won😌✋

Paddy: you cheated definitely

Ypu: no I didn't I was completely honest and didn't cheat!

I say laughing half of it because off how childish paddy was acting

He laughs too after he found out that he indeed was acting really childish

It soon became late so my parents and I went back to my granny's house

My brother was already there gaming with my cousins

Lewis: why did it take you guys so long?

Mom: well it turned out that paddy's mom my old friend from school was so we needed to catch up and ate dinner there

You: yeah it was much fun

Dad: did you have fun too with your friends?

Lewis: yeah yeah it was great catching up too

Dad: great
He says with a smile

I say good night to my family and walk up to my room

I text paddy good night and fall asleep
