Next day

Y/n's pov

Yesterday was so much fun! We talked a little more with the holland's and continued our walk. when we arrived back at my granny's house we immediately started cooking. We were done and we all gathered around the dinner table. We had an amazing time just eating and laughing. My cousin kept talking about paddy and I. It kinda irritated me, but I also got a weird feeling in my stomach But after all it was a beautiful night. When we finished dinner we watched a movie with the whole family. Ofcourse it was a Christmas movie. It finished and I was pretty tired so I said goodnight to everyone and went to bed.

And now it's Christmas! When we were all awake we gathered around the Christmas tree and my little cousins ran to their presents. We all laughed a little at them.

I got a sweater. Yes the Spider-Man homecoming sweater :). And some other stuff it was very fun.

I texted paddy too because why not?

you: hey pads! merry Christmas!:)

paddy: hey y/n/n! merry Christmas!

you: can't wait for tomorrow! :D

paddy: same!!!!!

you: gotta go now my mom wants me to spend time with family what i totally get though

paddy: our moms ar literally the same person aren't they?XD

you: yes. definitely.

paddy: bye!

you: bye!

you put your phone away and go back to your family

your cousin: why were you on your phone for SO long girl!

you: it was only 5 minutes not that long!

your cousin: you were talking to that guy from yesterday again weren't you?

you: shut. up.

your cousin just laughs and your whole family looks at you with questioning eyes

you: we are just friends!

you awkwardly laugh at them and then roll your eyes when you see that no one believes you.

Everyone got back to playing games nd just talking or for the little ones playing with their toys.

You were playing a game with your older cousin. You obviously won.

Ethan(your older cousin): This is why I don't like playing game with you!

you: what? because you're a bad loser?

You say half laughing. He only rolls his eyes at you.

You: oh come on you know I'm your favorite cousin!

Ethan: yes but not when we are playing a game!

you laugh at him. You and Ethan have a really strong bond. Ofcourse you have a strong bond with your other cousins too, actually the whole family has a great bond, but yours and Ethans is just different. He is more like an best friend that grew so much that it is family. You know that one person you tell everything and who tells you everything. He is a great cousin and best friend.

You also have this kind off bond with your cousin who was talking about you and Paddy, a.k.a. your cousin Cece. And that's why even though Ethan never met Paddy he only talks about you two now.

Your whole family keeps playing games till dinner is ready. You sit next to Ethan and Cece. You get text so you quickly look and turn your noise off when you see who it is.

Paddy: can't wait till tomorrow beauty ; )

you blush immediately knowing that both Ethan and Cece saw that text. But you were also blushing because you never thought he would call you that. Beauty. Wow. Omg what am I saying! You thought to yourself.

Cece: ooooh so just friends call you beauty? Does Adam call you that to? And Ella or Olivia?

you: uhm yes they uh all do

Ethan: yeah right

You: no really they do Ella does it all the time! And Adam sometimes too only Olivia not but we aren't that close yet so it's logic

Ethan: Wow you dutchies are really weird

you laugh awkwardly. Good saving y/n!

Your granny: shush you young people and y/n put your phone away!

you: yes ofcourse sorry gran!

you all ate and just watched a movie. You went to bed early and before you closed your eyes you texted paddy because you hadn't texted back since he called you that.

you: can't wait either! sorry for late reply but i couldn't we were just starting dinner sorry

Paddy: no problem! thanks for explaining tho because I thought it was about what i sended yk

You: oh know that was no problem it only caused some weirdness between me and my cousins because they were thinking weird yk

paddy: XD

You put your phone away and fall asleep.

God what a day.
