"Get her intubated and bagged!"
"WHAT IN GOD'S NAME HAPPENED IN HERE?"
"Dr Bailey! she just started coding out of nowhere!"
"Damn it she's in V-FIB CHARGE PADDLES TO 200!"

Bailey P.O.V
"Oh thank God Meredith Grey DON'T YOU SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN"
I saw her beginning to open her eyes and I leaned over her so she could see someone she knew as she woke up.
As her eyes opened, I saw the fear and pain behind them as she started choking on her intibation tube
"She's fighting the tube get me an extubation tray STAT"
A dark haired nurse, Rose I think her name was? Pulled the tray over to Meredith's bedside, all whilst looking at her in distain. Weird
"Ok Grey we're gonna get the tube out, you know the drill, on 3 I need you to give me a big cough ok 1...2...3!" On 3 she coughed loudly and the tube came flying out of her mouth, causing her to erupt into a giant coughing fit.
I grabbed my intern's hand and spoke soothingly to her.
"Shh it's ok sweetie, the tube's out and Finn's not here, you're safe in the hospital, you're safe" she seemed to calm down at this and tried to croak something out
"W-wan D"
"Here grey, drink this it will help" I passed her a cup of water with a straw, and held it for her while she drank
"Want Derek"
"Meredith are you su-"
"Please Derek" she said definitively
Meredith P.O.V
I could feel a weight on my hand ad I slowly regained consciousness. There was something obstructing my airway and i began to choke on it. opening my eyes, I was met with my resident looking down on me smiling. Where was Finn? Was he here? Was I intubated? Was he in jail? Or-
"Ok Grey we're gonna get the tube out, you know the drill, on 3 I need you to give me a big cough ok 1...2...3!" As Bailey said the number 3, I coughed as hard as I could. The tube shot out of my mouth and I burst into a huge coughing fit.
"Shh shh it's ok sweetie, the tube's out. Finn's not here you're safe in the hospital, you're safe" Bailey said as though she could read my mind.
I wanted Derek, I wanted him to wrap me up in his strong arms and tell me everything was ok. I was raped. Twice. And he was the only Drug that could alleviate my emotional and physical pain.
"W-wan D" was all I could croak out, my throat dry and sore from being intubated.
"Here grey, drink this it will help" She held a cup of water with a straw up in it up to my mouth and held it while I sipped
"Want Derek" I was able to say much clearer
"Meredith are you su-"
"Please Derek" I said, looking up at her with pleading eyes.
"Ok grey I'll send him in"
Two seconds later, the sliding-glass doors to my room slid open and a dechevilled looking Derek came rushing in.
He clasped my hand in his and stared at me lovingly through tearful eyes.
"Hey" he said, reaching a hand up to stroke my hair
"Hey" I whispered back
"We stared at eachother for a few seconds before I realized it was now or never
"They're about to knock me out with a lot of Pain meds and I won't be able to act like a normal person or whatever so I have to tell you this now before I get to afraid"
He looked at me, his eyes begging me to continue, a soft smile on his lips
"I'm in love with you Derek. I never stopped loving you, the only reason I was with Finn is because I was afraid of leaving him" my voice broke
" I'm never gonna stop loving you, you've been the tape and glue holding me together throughout these last few months, even if you didn't know it, you were."
By this point, tears were streaming down his face, and he was looking at me with so much adoration I thought my heart might burst.
