Consciousness came back to me gradually. I blinked my eyes open, squinting in the bright light. Sunlight streamed through the large windows, illuminating the entire room. I smiled as I took in the room again. It was the room Caspian and I had designed.

Movement to my right drew my attention. I glanced over and took in the figure slouched on the large window bench. Peter was out like a light, leaning back against the window. I stared at him a moment, a small smile growing on my face. He was really adorable. I winced, though, taking in the way he was sleeping. That couldn't be comfortable. I got up and walked over, careful not to make any noise. Gently, I rubbed his arm.

"Peter," I breathed. His breath caught and his eyes flew open. I grinned sheepishly. I really tried not to scare him.

"You're up," he mumbled, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "I must have fallen asleep."

He punctuated the thought with a yawn. I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing. His dark auburn hair was messy, sticking up in various places.

"You can move to my bed if you want. I don't know how early it is," I told him. I was definitely up for the day now, but if he wanted to sleep more he could. He shook his head.

"Want to go find some breakfast?" he asked me. I nodded immediately. I was starving.

We had spent the rest of the day yesterday moving everything in and unpacking. It was exhausting. I was out like a light the minute my head hit the pillow. The layout of the townhome was relatively simple. The main floor was all common space. There was a large kitchen and dining room that was open to the living room. The second floor had several bedrooms and a couple of other rooms, including an office. The third floor was entirely bedroom suites. That was where my room was. My window had a clear view of the main road. You could just see the river in the distance. It was perfect.

I made a quick pit stop in one of the bathrooms so I didn't feel so grungy. After I was done, we headed to the kitchen. The house was quiet. I was pretty sure we were the first ones up. I started going through the cabinets. The place was absolutely stocked. Yesterday it was a chore, but today I was very glad we had done it.

I helped Peter get some sausage, eggs, and various cheeses and veggies out. Looks like we were doing omelets today. While he started on those, I turned my attention to other matters. I moved to the coffeepot, thankful it was the same one that was in the Statio. I got the coffee brewing before getting some tea for myself. Once it was done, I handed a cup to Peter, who thanked me and then I set two at the end of the counter for our resident morning zombies.

Slowly but surely, everyone trickled downstairs. The zombies were rejuvenated with caffeine, and my growling stomach was filled with pure deliciousness. Nothing was said besides morning pleasantries.

"So, what's the plan for today, then?" I asked after everyone was done eating. "Since the unpacking is done."

"Whatever you want," Isaac stated, looking very excited at the prospect. I thought about it for a minute. What did I want to do? Honestly, absolutely nothing. The trip up here and yesterday was a lot. I still felt exhausted.

Would it be horrible to spend the day just being lazy and hanging out together? I saw a large fireplace in the living room, the television mounted above it. I pictured all of us lounging around, pajamas, fuzzy blankets, movies, games, and a crackling fire. Yeah, that sounded wonderful. I sighed at the image.

"How about a lazy day then?" I suggested. I wanted to see Domu, but not right now. I still felt tired, and I knew the guys hadn't gotten enough sleep last night. The city would still be there tomorrow.
