10. everybody has the right to be wrong
"Its naive to make believe that you're right, it's not bright. Only fools go walking on thin ice, twice."

Crema wants to lose herself.

as she juggles with household chores and listens to Gaia screaming, she herself, feels the urge to scream even louder.

she shoves the dry laundry into the basket, folds the warm clothes before placing hers and Gaia's clothes away. she feeds Gaia, places her in front of the television, cleans every surface in the apartment, vacuums the rooms and moves the furniture so she can clean every spot there is. she washes and dries the dishes, irons the clothes, especially her work uniform. she bathes Gaia, pays the bills, cooks dinner and a meal for tomorrow so the two of them have something to come back home to. she wants to scream but she can't because she's stuck in a routine life of silent chaos.

she brings her fisted hands down to the dining table and lifts up her banging head. get on with it. she stands, grabbing Gaia before getting her dressed for the day.

in her pushchair, Gaia squeals with grabby hands and an excited smile as they arrive at her play group. Crema also smiles, not in excitement but in relief. she may have work but it's still a break from her life as a cleaner, cook and mother– it is the hardest job to exist and on top of that, no money out of it.

Crema barely has the energy to wave at her daughter but feels guilty on the way to work– i should've waved, i should've kissed her goodbye. a few minutes later, she's present at the cafe and her shift flies by. she may have been physically present but her mind was elsewhere. it's not the 'lost' she needs.

Crema eventually gets ready to leave, wrapping her flannel scarf tightly around her neck. she feels a bubble of excitement form in her stomach as she finally feels present. what's coming next is something to be excited about, she thinks and moves to exit the cafe.

Manab however, stops her. she eyes the man waiting outside for Crema, leaning against his convertible. there's concern in her dark, chestnut eyes. "so you can make plans with him— your boy toy, but not me?" she questions, hurt expression wiping over her shiny face. it actually makes Crema feel awful and she feels the need to reach out, cancel with Taehyung.

but when Crema turns to look at Taehyung over her shoulder, she feels a surge of emotions that she can't comprehend. elegant as he leans against a shiny, light coloured convertible. he can afford anything he wants and if you didn't know his famous face, you'd never know. his brown eyes are a beauty even from afar– golden and glorious. he fiddles with his cuff links, dressing like all the men in the street except that his suit is perfectly tailored. it's slim on his legs, striped and a perfect black that matches his signature hat. Crema can already imagine the silky curls hidden underneath as well as the charming smile he's hiding with a smirk. he waits for her, feet crossed over one another.

Crema knows, far too much, that he is what she wants to get lost in.
