32. you make me feel so young
'And even when I'm old and gray. I'm going to feel the way I do today. 'Cause you, you make me feel so young.'

Crema feels a rush of emotion when she hangs up the phone.

she doesn't know how to show her excitement so the only way it's evident is through the large smile that takes over her face. a director that goes by the name Seokjin, Jin for short— wants her. he wants her in his next movie. it's as simple as that. he mentioned Taehyung and how he's heard so much about her, that if she's dedicated and talented enough, he's more than happy.

not a huge role in his movie but Crema can't possibly care— a dream she's wanted for a long time is finally coming true and there's only one person to thank...

in the moment she hangs up the landline, cord phone, she stills with utter excitement and a broken smile that doesn't know how to stay. turning around, she senses someone else's presence and sees that it's Mr Claude. from the wide grin on his handsome face, it's obvious that he overheard the exciting news and the tone of her voice when she screamed "yes!"

Jimin doesn't hesitate any longer before he steps closer and wraps his arms around Crema who's always been more than a worker. Crema willingly hugs back, hiding her face in the crook of his neck and appreciating the warmth he gives— the rarity of it.

"this is it my girl." he moves away and places his hands on her shoulders— silver and gold rings shining under the light of the house. he shakes her slightly as they smile at each other. "this is how you build yourself up."

Crema listens to every word that ever leaves the man's voice— they're important and she should hang onto them like beggars hang onto money. "how did you?" she questions, trailing off and voicing her thoughts out loud. "i heard you came from rags just like me. you once lived in the same area as me didn't you?" she hums, waiting for a response. there's no pity, just pride and admiration.

scratching the inside of his ear, he nods. "i did. i sold bibles— door to door."

Crema as always never believed everything she hears. the world they live in is swimming with speculation. she knows she heard something entirely different about Jimin's past— about what he sold. the speculation rises.

"i never had a chance competing against you beautiful women." he points at her and she smiles when she feels the tip of his finger brush her nose. "so i thought i'd make money out of managing you all." he says and Crema loves the way he speaks— the way he tells her honestly and bluntly how things were, are and how things will be. his honesty isn't just present in his voice, it's also smoothing down his red suit— over each crease and button.

she watches her boss walk away then, doing what he loves to do— manage. he moves to check up on the clients and their behaviour. she smiles, crossing her arms over her chest— Jin's voice still lingering in the back of her mind.

Jimin speaks then, addressing the lounging, horny male clients sat upon his couches. "keep your wallets squeaky clean and come to me before you go." he declares.

a man, legs apart with a woman under his heavy, clothed arm speaks, "what if we're not satisfied?" he questions, eyeing Jimin in the eye.

adjusting the sides of his red, hot blazer, Jimin laughs a little— chuckle reaching Crema at the other side of the room. "i don't really care darling." he walks away, back over to her.

"there are 2 things anyone will pay for—food and sex." he mentions, standing beside Crema now— arms also crossed and eyes watching dangerously. "and i've never been good at cooking." his gaze never leaves his empire.
