C4 P9 - Christmas Special

A/N: I apologise for how late this is, I got a bit lazy over the last week. My bad. Enjoy the Christmas part.

Dan and Callie were Christmas shopping together. Dan had tried to get Daisy to come with him but she had declined, he figured that she didn't want him to know what his present might be, so he was okay with it. Callie then decided to volunteer to come with him, she said she knew the best shops in Arowana Hall, and Dan did really enjoy her company, so she came by the mansion and they headed out.

After they had got their gifts, they started to head back to Pearl's, but the weather quickly shifted, and it started pouring with rain. This wouldn't have been a problem, if it wasn't for the fact Callie's jacket didn't have a hood.

They both quickly ran into a shop to get of the rain.

Callie: "I can't go back out there, the water starts to hurt after a while."

Dan: "But I thought fresh water didn't hurt you guys?"

Callie: "Rain water just hurts for some reason, I don't know why."

Dan took off his coat.

Dan: "Here, wear my coat Cal."

Callie: "But then it'll hurt you!"

Dan: "Nah, humans aren't affected by water, remember?"

Callie: "Oh, right. Hehe."

Dan: "Heh. Come on, let's go."

Callie: "Hey actually, do you wanna head over to me and Marie's apartment? It'll be a while before the Frosty Fest and the party starts."

Dan: "Sure, why not? I haven't seen your place anyway."

Callie: "Yes! Come on let's go!"

Callie started pulling Dan through the rain. After a bit of running, they arrived at the apartment.

Dan: "You know, I'm surprised you two live in an apartment. I thought you two would of moved out to a bigger house."

Callie: "Well, this was the place we lived in when we first arrived in Inkopolis 5 years ago. I guess the place just sort of grew on us, as we never considered moving out."

Dan: "I respect that, it is in a nice part of Inkopolis as well."

Callie: "Exactly. Come on, let's head inside."

Callie entered a code on the keypad and they entered the Apartment Complex. After a couple flight of stairs, they reached Callie and Marie's apartment and headed in.

The place was full of bright colours, those colours being the signature Pink and Green that Callie and Marie are known for. The place also had a bunch of Christmas decorations, which somehow made the place even more bright and colourful.

Dan: "Wow, this place is really nice Cal."

Callie: "Aw, thanks! We went all out on this place, we wanted it to feel like it was ours."

Dan: "Well you've definitely accomplished that!"

Callie: "Hehe. Sit down, I'll turn the TV on and grab some snacks."

She switched the TV on and headed into the kitchen, after a few moments she came back in with an assortment of snacks.

They chilled for a while, enjoying each other's company and their food.

Something weighed on Callie's mind though. She recalled what happened back the Bunker, and how Dan and Daisy reacted. She hated seeing those two suffer, they had already been through enough.
