I can't believe what has just happened, this is absolutely absurd! Harry Potter is a liar and a cheat. I don't understand how Oliver is so fond of him, you can't judge someone based off of their quidditch skills. Gosh sometimes he gets in my nerves.
"Hey you're Wood's little sister right?" I hear someone yell from behind me as I walk back from dinner. I clench my fist at the way they just addressed me. When I whip my head around of course it's Weasley, Ron to be exact. There's like twenty of them or something. I don't know, I just assume every red head is related to them in some way at this point.
"No I'm not 'Wood's little sister' you git! I'm Kennedy and if that's not enough for you then don't talk to me in the first place! I would expect you to know me better than just Oliver's blood anyways, considering I'm roommates with your best friend." I scold him. He looks terrified.
"I'm sorry, I was just going to ask if you've seen Hermione, you know since your roomates and-"
"Yeah I get it Weasley. I think she's gone to the library." I keep mumbling insults under my breath as he walks away. I can't stand his entire friend group, other than Hermione of course. She's the only one who's got a brain of her own. The rest of them just follow Harry Potter, 'the chosen one' around in awe. What did he even do that was so amazing? Yeah I get that he stopped Voldemort but rumor has it, he didn't even do anything. It was his mother's protecting spell. Therefore his arrogance is unneeded, seriously the only thing he's good at is quidditch. He knows a maximum of three spells and he copies off of girls who fancy him for all of his exams. It honestly disgusts me.

We have a new Defense Agains the Dark Arts professor, and he's sketchy. Big whoop, as if that doesn't happen every year.
This one has a glass eye. He seems to get enjoyment out of torturing the students. I sure can't wait to see what he has planned for this class.
When I enter the classroom there's only one seat left, just my luck. I plop my stuff down next to Potter and he immediately gives me a glare.
"Oh shove off will you?" I snap.
"I didn't even do anything!"
"I saw your little face there, I'm not stupid even though you think I am." I hiss.
"You really are a nightmare." He retorts. I widen my eyes as if I'm surprised he would say something so insulting. I reach down into my bag to get my textbook out, I struggle slightly to lift it out since it's hard covered and thick.
"And you really are a foul, inconsiderate, prick!" I say before dropping the book very purposefully in his hand.
"Owe!" He whisper shouts, I give him a fake smile and direct my attention back to the front of the room.
Professor Moody asks for a student volunteer. I have been spaced out all class so I sink in my seat hoping the large wooden table will cover up my body and make me disappear.
"I think Kennedy wants to go." Harry volunteers while returning my fake smile. I kick him in the shin almost making him squeal, then give him a certain unpleasant finger.
"Wonderful." Moody says, he's creepily excited. "I want you to stand right." He puts his hands on my shoulders, inappropriately in my opinion. And moves me aside "Here, now hold this." He hands me a slug. You've got to be kidding me.
Luckily when we were younger Oliver went through a phase of liking particularly disgusting insects and our parents even let him keep a snake as a pet in his room, until one night he found it in his bed. Then he got over his obsession. So I'm not really freaked out by stuff like that anymore.
Moody points his wand at the poor creature and begins to explain a transfiguration spell.
"Sorry to interrupt your lesson but, we aren't allowed to use transfiguration spells at school." I object. I don't bother hiding my disinterest in his lesson in the tone of my voice.
"Well none of you ungrateful miseries are going to tell anyone correct?" He asks the class, everyone nods. A couple just yawn or raise their chins off of their desk in response. It's probably a good thing he doesn't have children, he seems to hate them with a passion. "Alright then may I carry on miss whatever your surname is, I don't take the time to learn the insignificant ones." He insults.
"How did you even get a job here?" I fire back.
"I'm one of the best Aurors of all time missy." I feel like I'm arguing with my father or something.
"You sure of that?"
"Get out of my class. I'll decide later if you'll be allowed to come next session." I carefully place his slug down on the table to not hurt it, then I get my things as the entire classes eyes follow me. Harry snickers as I am throwing my bag over my shoulder. I narrow my eyes at him then leave with a smirk on my face. Most people would be humiliated but no, not me. To me I just pushed 'one of the greatest Aurors' to the point where he couldn't even handle me in his classroom.

"You don't always have to get on the new professors bad sides the first week of school you know." Hermione says while neatly copying notes into her notebook.
"It's not always." I say.
"Ok, list three teachers that generally like you." She questions.
"Easy. Mcgonagle, Lupin liked me and, hmmm Hagrid!"
"Lupin liked everyone who wasn't friends with Malfoy." She corrects.
Hermione and I really are polar opposites. She's all brainy and I don't particularly love school, or the work. I get decent grades but I just don't have a passion to do my best. I'd rather do other things, like go to restricted parts of the castle or sneak into filches office to see what he's got tucked away in there.
We get along none the less, very well actually. She helps me with my work a lot which is very kind of her since I'm probably frustrating to work with. I can't stay focused for the life of me.
I love being at school, again not the work part but the actual being here. At Hogwarts everyone who takes the time to know me, knows that my parents are a bit clueless. They think I'm this harmless little thing who's innocence couldn't bother to be taken away by even the most evil of things. When really I'm sort of a trouble maker, I'm careful enough not to find myself in detention or anything. I just get bored with no riskiness in my life. It keeps me on my toes.

Ahhh I'm so excited to write this story!! I've personally never seen a story where the oc is Oliver's sister but I'm sure there have been some.
Anyways I decided to go for a much different character than in my last book, Kennedy is more of a trouble maker and she has a hard time showing her affection towards others.
I really hope you like this first chapter!!
